After Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was Acquitted (Found Not Guilty) at the end of his sham impeachment trial yesterday, he issued a statement. Here is the section pertinent to this thread.

"The sham impeachment coordinated by the Biden Administration with liberal House Speaker Dade Phelan and his kangaroo court has cost taxpayers millions of dollars, disrupted the work of the Office of Attorney General and left a dark and permanent stain on the Texas House," Paxton's letter read.

Paxton then accused the White House of promoting "lawless policies" and promised that President Biden will be "held accountable."

"Finally, I can promise the Biden Administration the following: buckle up because your lawless policies will not go unchallenged," the statement read. "We will not allow you to shred the constitution and infringe on the rights of Texans. You will be held accountable."

There has been a 1,900% INCREASE in murders of Americans (and others) by Illegal Aliens, since President Joe Biden opened the U.S. Southern Border in 2021.

--------------

If Texas Attorney General Paxton wants to reduce the murder rate in his state, he should indict President Joe Biden for not fulfilling his oath to protect U.S. Citizens, by allowing murderers to freely enter and roam Texas...and beyond. Paxton's move would most likely encourage Attorney Generals in other states to also indict President Biden, for the the same reason(s).

According to this legal expert, the only reason a sitting President has NOT yet been indicted, is because no Prosecutor/AG has been brave enough to try.

"In the Watergate investigation, we examined that issue quite carefully and reached the conclusion that there is no constitutional bar to indicting a sitting president.

It's a matter of discretion whether to file such charges.

But the issue is still unresolved because, neither in Watergate, nor in the Clinton years, did any prosecutors press the issue."

In Summary: Texas AG Ken Paxton wants to put a stop to President Joe Biden's immigration lawlessness. President Biden is allowing people to come into Texas illegally, and murder/rape/burglarize, etc., at will. A sitting President CAN be indicted if a Prosecutor/AG believes the crime is severe enough. Attorney General Paxton has tons of evidence, and the means to indict. We'll now see if he has the "will" to indict an obviously guilty Joseph R. Biden.

To me he did seem to be the target a political hit job.
I don't know much about the dude but from I do know he is sleezy(like all politicians) but to my knowledge didn't do anything that would warrant his Impeachment.

Political witch hunt? He's currently indicted for securities fraud, had to pay out over $3 million to whistleblowers accusing him of abuse of office (which he paid off with taxpayer money), and is currently facing disbarment.

He was impeached by a bipartisan vote in the House 121-23. The fact this his wife refused to recuse herself from the trial is ridiculous (although her reaction when his mistress was called as a witness is priceless.) The only message this sends is that corruption is welcome in Texas. At least as long as you're part of the Good Ol' Boys Club.

Cry harder commie.

If they were serious, they should have found something real to try impeaching him over.

The whole thing was BS.

The reason he was impeached with such a majority is because the evidence was so overwhelming against him that Senate Republicans guaranteed the House they were going to vote to convict.

Some kind of deal was cut.

Lmao …. You never lose and are never wrong.

It’s always the mysterious deal that was cut.

Or sometimes Trump threatened and intimidated everyone.

Who’s Kenny ? The guy who just won big time ?

I’m having trouble understanding your meaning here.

So the fact that the Republican Speaker of the House was shocked at the decision and called out the Lt. Governor for running a sham trial has no bearing on your opinion of how this played out?

Sorry, I didn't add the quote from the OP in my response. This should clarify things:

To which I said...." "

"Kenny", aka Ken Paxton, is so gung-ho to get Biden, perhaps he could use the novel technique of applying the LAWS already on the books!!

Again, I apologize.

Dade Phelan is a neocon POS who was about to get removed for being obviously drunk while running the Texas House during the last session before the BS impeachment was brought up.

The fact that Republicans have sat on their thumbs for three nearly years while the Democrats destroy the country should be proof enough that a two party system is just an illusion.

Paxton is doing exactly what all Republicans do; throw out empty threats as crumbs of hope for delusional people who prefer living in a feel-good false reality.

What do the most corrupt politicians have in common? They're all lawyers who become millionaires within a few years of entering politics.

We are now a country run by a massive political cartel with no power to change the status quo except......BAMN.

To be fair and equitable, I guess the AG of a blue state should bring charges against then-president Trump for all the murder and mayhem caused by immigrants that he allowed in during his administration.

For the most part, that's a FACT that gets lost on people sadly. They think these people are one of us and they carry our torches.

Complete horse snip.
