If you follow the news, you may notice an uptick in the attention being drawn to Joe's age and the mental decline attributed to it. Despite what you may believe about him historically, it's now being put fairly front and center. Make no mistake on this aspect, this will be turned on Trump later in the cycle.

Meanwhile, evidence keeps pouring out regarding Hunter's proclivities in Ukraine and China and just how much involvement Joe had to do with that and profited from. Keep in mind that Joe doesn't need to directly profit as long as his family is, which we now have direct evidence of.

In the runup to 2024 elections, does Joe have any other option but to pardon hunter and step down? Try to pardon himself?

Without the medias backing, there isn't much left to cover for the Bidens.

Maybe they want him out so Kamala can show how epically incompetent she is on the world stage.

This way they would get less anger from the left for ditching her to run Newsome or whoever.

Wouldnt Kamala have to win a primary?

Or is she automatic like an encumbant potus?

How did she do in the 2020 primary.....?

People tend to forget that the old man had two brain surgeries that alone damaged his brain in some way or the other, soo yes he is right now very much incompetent and the media and the white house has been trying for over a year to hide the fact of the rapid decline.

He will no make it to the next term, or they will have to have him showing up only from the window of the white house to show everybody that he is still alive and not more white house briefings by him.

I get your point, and I agree.

But I've heard it said a few times now that if they dump her, they'll lose most of the black female vote. I guess they think she's been marginalized and given only garbage assignments.

I don't know how accurate that is, it's just something I've heard.

Give the black women voters more credit, they are no dumb they are intelligent and here in south they hate Kamala, first because she is not really black, she is from California, and she is as dumb as it comes.

So no, black women voters does not give a crap about kamala.

I'm not sure how they separate Kamala from Biden in the electoral aspect. Perhaps they've a plan, i don't know.

Honestly I don't see a viable candidate that I want in office running atm. Both parties have the dude they want running the show already picked out. They both suck equally IMHO.
I am not looking forward to 2024, it actually kinda concerns me because if Biden isn't removed or doesn't resign he very well could win reelection. But Trump could very well pull it off too. I mean the press is doing the same thing they did when he announced his candidacy for the 2016 election, just this time they are going all out. One would think they learned a lesson. But nope they just love giving him airtime. Obviously to to get views good or bad, which just proves they don't give a rats behind about our republic. Just dollar signs.

I'm attending an HBC university in Texas.

Today's college kids are completely brainwashed into the Blue Kool-aid.

I think Biden will finish his term or at least get real close to it. He may announce around around primary time, enough time to make Harris hit the debate stage rather that having her as an incumbent POTUS. He will finish his term and she will finish her term as VP.

I don't think that the dem power structure wants her as their candidate so this will open it up for others the put their faces forward, and Newsome has quite a handsome face and pretty hair. And he speaks well also. And yes, he is rising in the popular Dem info world.

I wonder if Gabbard will make another stab at it.

You bring up an interesting thought.

Lets say you're correct and that Biden/Harris finish out most of their term.

Then "nominate" Newsome for the D candidate for 2024, completely ignoring the primary process.

That would be rather interesting.

I don't think people outside of Commiefornia will buy his BS.

Kamala Harris had to drop out of the 2020 primaries because she was not liked by the D voters.

We know this as fact. Newsome has never been in a primary and if the above ideas come to fruition, it would actually be an expert play to pull the wool over the D voters.

Nah, I think they need that debate process for public consumption. He will have to show better than Harris and she will have to nod in his direction. It won't be easy to pass over the first female VP in history or in the public eye to sweep past a woman of color. That would be very very dangerous piss off so many of their voters. No, she will have too play the game and promote whoever is decided upon to be the candidate. Then she will be made, if they win, Attorney General. She could be bought with that carrot.

I don't care for him myself and his time in California has been a picture of a man vacillating from this to that.
However, they will need a person with camera presence to beat Trump, and he has that. He can play which ever role is needed to take out Trump, just as Biden did. Any problems on a national level can be squished around to make him palatable on a national level.

It's adorable how you're trying to rationalize irrational times.

We're well past the point of dangerous and proper.

I"m stuck with it J, it's all I've got. From looking around it appears to me that it's all to easy to flip from rational to irrational, from sanity to insanity, hence my questionable attempts to maintain my own hopefully balanced sense of things.
I was right about Biden though, I did not want him to run in 2020 for the reasons we have all now come to recognize. I had hoped that liberals were smarter than that, I was wrong.

Oh, I get it, and your reasoning and logic being applied then as well as here would seem to outweigh the logic where they will play by the rules or stick to norms.

I see it as quite plausible that Biden hangs on until long after the primaries and merely appoints the next candidate for 2024.

That will be an interesting event if it happens to be certain.
