When you watch this movie, just think of all the terrible of what Mother Nature is doing to us all on Earth. This matches up to what has taken to China in recent weeks. Also Tokyo just recently bombed with rain recently. So much damage. Seriously, if you are not prepared for natural disasters these days. OK, its a Biblical proportations.

Two dams collapsed from heavy rainfall. I'll never understand why towns are built in places that will one day be faced with their collapse.

This is just terrible. The lack of response from officials is beyond the pale.

Mother Nature or Mr Manipulative Weather Machine? That's what I'm asking, and I have my suspicions.

Events like this will only become more common as Earth's atmosphere and oceans continue to warm due to human activity.

Warmer oceans = more evapouration and stronger cyclones; warmer atmosphere = more precipitable rain.

Edit: it's not as though we weren't warned .....

Or maybe just simple climate change.

But some lab rat in a white coat has all the answers, right?

Until some egghead in a lab coat decides to switch it up, depending upon his largest contributor of yearly bribes... I mean "Donations" to whatever foundation...

Science and politics have a lot in common... but no sense.

Mother Nature? Both corrupt regimes in Libya would rather fight against each other than invest in the infrastructure, this was a very slow train wreck with warnings in advance.

Wouldn't be surprised if the people started to guillotine the entire administration.

I would not want to own beachside property after 4 years from now. Hawaii on high tide is an example and the Keys in Florida is another example.

What activity did humans do last ice age or before the great flood or to cause the extinction of dinosaurs?
How does it feel to be manipulated by powerhungry humans and believe their scaremongering just like that?

Blaming Nature is what Napoleon did, that's where this is heading. Nature is never cruel, cruelty is taking pleasure in inflicting or drawing out (pointless) suffering. Therefore, only humans are cruel. Unlike animals (i.e. birds, cats), which are merely playful. Nature is ruthless/pitiless, eliminates what is stagnating as quickly as possible. Pity is hostile to life, preserves what is unfit.

Besides, most disasters are caused by poor planning and insufficient preparation on the part of humans who have also neglected to preserve warnings from ancestors.

Fires and floods are in my opinion due to poor planning and prevention. It was pointed out how the fires in California were due to poor forestry practices and the Corp of Engineers is always screwing up natural flood plains. Also, normalcy bias plays its part in things like dams breaking due to unusual weather patterns.

Considering the cruelty of nature, from a human's perspective, it is harsh and cruel. Life is given zero consideration by nature when looking at the raw elemental aspects of reality. Just ask the dinosaurs, wait they're extinct.

so now that we are attributing each disaster to human activity, when we get a blizzard, we can say with definitive authority that we now have the power to control temperature and we solved the AGW issue, or is it different when it goes against your narrative?

Last ice age, us humans were hunting on the African savannah. The great flood occurred just after Narnia invaded Trumpton, so not really relevant here and the dinosaurs became (mostly) extinct due to a very large asteroid colliding with the Earth.

Current warming, however, is due to human activities. Especially the activities of the so-called "Elite".

Just curious but has there ever been a period in the history of the planet when there wasn’t floods, fires, blizzards, storms, typhoons, etc?

There are build back better solutions, like hurricane-proof homes in Florida and U.K.s build back better for better (semi?) airtight homes.

Build back better worked for this guy (sound starts at 1:33 thereabouts).

No

And any one such event, or even several, are not evidence of climate change.

You need to look at changes in frequency and severity to determine whether such events may be indicative of climate change. Bearing in mind that one of the falsifiable predictions associated with AGW is a global increase in frequency and severity of such events.

Over what time period?

100 years, 10 years, 1000 years, 1,000,000,000 years?

Here's a crazy thought: if NATO had not bombed Libya into lasting chaos in 2011 maybe, just maybe those dams would have been properly maintained and all those people would still be alive?
