www.foxnews.com...

A CIA whistleblower told Congress that the agency offered officials on a team investigating COVID-19 origins "significant monetary incentive" to change their positions, from that it originated out of a leak from the Wuhan lab to "unable to determine" the origins, Fox News Digital has learned.

Fox News Digital obtained letters House Coronavirus Subcommittee Chairman Brad Wenstrup and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner sent to the CIA and a former official.

"The Select Committee on the Coronavirus Pandemic and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence have received new and concerning whistleblower testimony regarding the Agency’s investigation into the origins of COVID-19," Wenstrup and Turner wrote to CIA Director William Burns Tuesday.

Well, this is interesting.

Fauci, who was pushing the "natural" origin theory and fought hard to deny the lab leak theory seems to have his fingerprints on this one. Which brings the "why" part of this into play. Why would they spend money to change the public perception of the origins? Just to demonize Trump? seems they had enough things to blame on him. But if this was due to the work the US was funding in China, that would be awkward. Perhaps enough so that China had leverage on the US over this as well as other (Biden being owned) things. There is no proof as of yet that any of this is real, just a whilstleblower so far. But with folks like Rand Paul around, this might be looked into a bit more and who knows what could be found.

Can we now say the CIA belongs to China? I guess who else will be trying to hide the true or any true for that matter.

Ok, it is anything in the US that is run these days by US? really, we should be asking this questions, we all know biden has been run by some hidden entity.

You have that absolutely correct, no proof of anything.

It should be taken with a grain of salt until proven as fact. Is that unreasonable to you?

Duh. LOL. We said it was a lab leak from the beginning. I just find it funny how it always takes a "whistleblower" corroborating it. At this point, with all the lies we've been told, shouldn't we be past that?
I'm not saying just believe every conspiracy theory, but some of them are obvious, and this one definitely was.
Just a few blocks down from the lab? It's time for people to start trusting their common sense again and resist being gaslighted.

When COVID popped up, Fauci was just handed the keys to the kingdom. All bowed down to his words without giving them a common sense shakedown - like the fact that he had said masks don't work but then said everyone should wear them, etc. His 'advice' made the US economy hit a brick wall and was the downfall of the Trump administration. Prior to that it was in spectacular shape.

And I'll say ... thank God for whistleblowers. People brave enough to step forward and take the risks and the criticism from the usual suspects.

OR,
(and check out THIS conspiracy theory) There's a group of really rich and powerful people who just want more control and money, and they are united across borders and nationalities.
Wouldn't that be WILD!

There ya' go! If only that could happen.
But people are plugged into every word from CNN and MSNBC and FOX etc.
Propaganda and ideology and clinging to their politics. No common sense.
And this one is common sense! Thank god for whistleblowers. Confirmation.

It was just this year that US funding of the Wuhan lab was cut off, previously we paid lots of money into that research. Of course they would want to detach themselves from it...
Unless....

The US was involved in covering up the atrocities of WWII Japan and the death of thousands of Chinese citizens and moved many Japanese scientists to Fort Detrick to carry on the research of Unit 731 on the American Population

Wuhan lab leak theory: How Fort Detrick became a centre for Chinese conspiracies

The 'grains of salt' are adding up fast to support a planned demolition of society as we know it.

It's getting pretty hard to keep denying the depth of corruption that's already been proven in the way this 'pandemic' was orchestrated and forced on the world.

The insiders buying up stock in Big Pharma before Covid even hit is enough to cause most people to remain open minded about any and all information coming to light. Concerning Covid, the vast majority of horrific rumors are proving true.

I'm not getting this fully... this happened under the Trump years, under Trump appointed people in the CIA. His best people.

Why would Trump protect China and why would his people in the CIA order this?

Where does this rabbit hole lead?

ETA: From the way this sounds, a lot of money to me is hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars. How does someone offer million dollar bribes to CIA agents, within the CIA itself, and the director and none of the deputy directors know about it?

Right?

What kind of Director and Deputy Directors of CIA are they if they don't know someone is using million in taxpayer money to bribe their employees. And the only job they have is to know.

Which means either Mike Pompeo, or Gina Haspel, approved this, if the whistleblower is right.

capitalism is not sustainable, without repeated setbacks.

This is planned insofar that the planless alternative is much worse for society...

if some thought they'd be the winner in capitalism, they've been drinking the cool aid. Now they feel the beauty of that economic system in its probably last and most ugly iteration...

is it more odd that it was reported that the CIA was doing the investigation?

The whistleblower told Congress that the CIA assigned seven officers to a COVID Discovery Team, which consisted of "multi-disciplinary and experienced officers with significant scientific expertise."

"According to the whistleblower, at the end of its review, six of the seven members of the Team believed that intelligence and science were sufficient to make a low confidence assessment that COVID-19 originated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China," Wenstrup and Turner wrote...
..."The whistleblower further contends that to come to the eventual public determination of uncertainty, the other six members were given a significant monetary incentive to change their position," they said.

Edit to add: Seems the CIA has some time to hand over requested documents and communications.
I wonder if HHS will tell the CIA not to cooperate with congress...

isn't this a little childish at this point? Amazingly enough Trump was president when the FBI went rouge and set him up, and I sincerely doubt that was his idea.

I usually wouldn't reply to such a comment, but ok...

Sundar Pichai manages a company, Google, that employs around 200,000 people. As a CEO, he is expected to know everything that goes on in his company and is responsible to the shareholders and the authorities for anything that happens. He is in the business of making money, not in the business of knowing everything there is to know.

The CIA employs 20,000 people, one tenth of Alphabet. The CIA is in the business of knowing everything. You're saying the Directors of the CIA didn't authorize this and didn't even know about it? If it's true.

Who's being childish now?

If this happened it happened with the knowledge of the CIA leadership, and given the timeline, also Trump's knowledge, because it happened under either Pompeo or Haspel.

I'm just not understanding the purported reason for all this, why would Trump defend China?

that would still be you. Trump had no idea how to "be president" or how "Politics" worked. Perhaps you remember everyone making fun of him early on blundering around and making poor choices for hires. He didn't know what was happening in his office, let along the IC who was actively trying to remove him from day 1.
