A Defund the Police activist was assaulted and carjacked

You'd have a hard time finding a more perfect example of leftist thinking. The left makes up their arguments minute-by-minute, with no logic or critical thinking involved. It's insanity.

Here we have a "defunder" who was a rabid anti-police activist, until she was a crime victim. Then the police came to her aid. Now she loves the police.

Last Wednesday she got on Facebook to say: "Catch these young people who are running wild creating chaos across our city, and HOLD THEM IN CUSTODY AND PROSECUTE THEM."

The prestigious Brookings Institute claimed that police don't actually keep order, nor do they protect citizens. Those are just myths. Seriously, you can't make this up.

don't get me wrong, i support law and order. but the brookings Institute is partly right.
when seconds count, the police take minutes, hours or may not show up.

that's why every body need a shootin iron.

I agree with you on the police response time issue.

My argument with the Brooking Institute was in the way they defended the "Defund" movement, and offered their 'alternatives' to actual police officers.
The idea that you can send a social worker to deal with a violent, irrational, gun or knife-wielding criminal is just ludicrous.

She got a big dose of reality...and she called the POlice....Can't make this stuff up!!!!!!
