I'm speaking on behalf of my friends that did serve and most that still do.
That is the general feeling I get from them when we talk about geopolitical issues. Saudi Arabia is often brought up due to the massive influence they have over terrorism mostly because of similar ideals and massive funding.
They(friends) don't much like the deals that have been brokered with them from previous presidents. They feel those deals undermines them.
