What Obama does in his private life, or did, even if it does happen to be true, is irrelevant.
1) It does not affect his ability to govern
2) It does not affect you in any way
3) Even if he is "sinning" it is NOT your job to judge (the Bible is very explicit about this)
4) If he is "sinning" he will be the one to pay the price, not you, so stop moaning and complaining about it

Your religion is your choice, his religion is his choice. When it comes to things like gay sex, which hurt no one, it is crossing the line to force someone else to follow your religion. You would feel the same way about Islam forcing its views on you.

God himself is very explicit about this as well. If you want to convert Obama to your religion, it will not work to do so by judging him. You must instead demonstrate to him that your way is better in some way.

If you think about what you are doing, you are basically judging Obama and ripping on him (which is a sin in itself) in order to feel superior or gain control. To be more specific, you are committing the sin of pride.

It is NOT your job as a religious person to police others. It is your job to police yourself.

It's not hard to be against sex with children, but that angle is not really relevant to Obama smoking crack at a gay bathhouse.

But if we're using the Gay Obama thread as a segue, it is a cultural battle of "for the children" vs. "for the children" IMO..Pretty much everyone uses the combination of mental health, morality, children, and LGBT. Outliers never matter.

I think there is a result in all this that gets missed.

Since gender reaffirmation and a liberal power grab became such an issue, being gay has fallen off a cliff of importance and stigma. That is all of a sudden less by comparison.



Maybe the real purpose is to just push this to such an extent that when it's scaled back a little bit the previous stigma has been erased entirely?
