More regular people are understanding that the U.S. News Media is helping to protect the criminals running this country in Government, and also in some private industries. (Hollywood, Pharmaceutical, and a few more)

They are therefore (finally) taking what the news media tells them, and thinking about the motivation behind every story.

For example, CBS and NBC News is really fanatical about making extreme weather BIGGER than it is. Americans are starting to realize that CBS/NBC is so fixated on Climate, because the executives and board members at those corporations are heavily invested in stocks that will benefit, as money is thrown at those companies in order to combat "climate change". Hideously selfish people run most TV networks and news organizations.

Oh...punishment is coming for them too!

I don't know if this has any real baearing on who is a better president. Most presidents don't go against the mliitary industrial complex. Secondly, showing support of the military is an important issue to Trump's base. Trump ran on being pro-military. Which, I don't see how pumping more money into the military is going to solve our issues at home, other than making Trump look good for being "pro-military".

I'd be hard-pressed to find any president who doesn't put at least some effort into "supporting the troops" since it's just free political points.

I think it's just a dumb point of conversation to debate who likes the troops more, considering that almost no politician is anti-u.s. military or anti-military industrial complex for that matter.

Trump may very well win who "seems" to care about the military more, but it's a hollow point of topic in which nobody really actually tries to address issues that affect veterans and how to prevent the military members from having to kill others or be killed for no other reason than American imperial conquest.

Hell, if you really want to be "pro-military" then how about stop pushing military into conflicts and operations that blow up innocent people half-way across the world.

When you join the military, they make sure you know what you signed up for. There is a lot of risk being in the military. There is a lot of risk in farming too, yet most people can't comprehend that people who supply the food on your table are at a higher risk of accidents than most people.

Honestly, we would probably have to go all the way back to Eisenhower to find a President that actually cared about the troops. You could possibly make arguments for Carter or Kennedy.

All the others come across as paying them lip service in public but in the end see them nothing more than tools to be used and tossed aside when they're of no more use.
