Is this a pipe dream, possible return of the Boeing727

As much as I love the 727, and its capabilities to land and depart on otherwise impossible landing strips.

And the flap and slats are pure genius.

Has any one heard that this may be a possibility.

Some have suggested it may be a two engined aircraft.

Though it wouldn’t have the classic styling though who knows.

Any thoughts?

If you bring back the 727, and do all the changes he wants to do, then it’s no longer a 727. He’s basically doing a clean sheet design and calling it a reborn 727.

The 727 is a cool plane. But boy are those engines loud.

A 727 like plane that can land almost anywhere and not need a terminal would be great in places.
