Oh, i don't trust the guy at all.

However, buying a McLaren F1 and being excited about the purchase as a young man isn't IMO a proof of his motivations.

I probably didn't seriously self evaluate till i was in my 30's. If you can believe it i was at one time a borderline socialist.

I always laugh when they say the British monarchs have 1 billion or so. They literally own and govern over 1/6th of the worlds landmasses. Buckingham Palace alone must be worth 10 billion. Prime real estate and gardens in central London ain't cheap.

We should all be skeptical of the powerful, but I just thought I’d add something to the conversation.

They are Low Earth Orbit satellites, which travel far closer to the earth than typical satellites in outer space. The reason for this is so they can provide high speed internet without a crazy latency. It’s what makes them different than Hugh’s Net which is glorified dial up with a data cap.

These satellites are also far smaller. In terms of cost I’d imagine they’re fairly comparable considering they’re deploying waves of them in each launch as opposed to one.

That’s not to say they will never be used for something other than high speed internet, but there are reasons to the numbers deployed. They each cover a smaller radius since they’re closer to the surface, and there has to be overlap for a seamless handoff as they’re traveling fast.

Good points , but Musk had to work out a deal with China , because they have thousands of satellites as well.
Our space is a minefield of junk floating around & it us hard to believe one man can have nearly 5000 satellites in space without TPTB globally are in on it ?
Does China use Musk satellites for surveillance of it’s people ?

This is a disease plaguing our society. FoxNews CNN and MSNBC have changed their programming to feed this sickness. It makes them money so why not in a Capitalist society.

I asked them for proof of this, and they said it is all over the internet. There are pictures, and interviews with people whose children were taken and used for this purpose. To date I have seen no evidence. And I told that person they are evil for saying such. Just because a person is famous does not mean they do not have basic human rights. You say some crazy think like that about me or my family, you will find yourself on the wrong end of a blunt object, or in court very quickly.
This child like craze to give a teaspoon of credibility to baseless conspiracy must stop, and it must stop now.

We used to have a society of Adults who frowned on young people saying such things. Now it is the young people that think the adults have lost their minds, and have less than zero credibility. I tend to agree.
