I’m leaning towards a hoax……

The jump is part of the original as I see it……

Train your eyes to focus on the background clouds……imo I see smudging and or stamping of the clouds in the background before the object shows up and after.

The object itself picks up an artifact mid way through flight that looks like a half circle on top of the object.

Look zoom and don’t blink…

That's 186,282 mp/s or 11,176,920 mp/h .
So , your speed would violate the Laws of Physics .

What is 186,282 X 60 = ? Then ? X 60 =

This is a good one! It’s not ball lightning.

1. Only things I can think of is the obvious CG that could’ve been added to the vid with a very simple FX package. In the slow-mo it’s clear the light/line’s appearance out of cloud and disappearance back into cloud could’ve been achieved with a simple 2 frame fade.

2. The light coincides with the passing car and is moving approx the same speed across the screen (albeit in the opposite direction), so could it be a reflection from the car’s alloy trim?

It’s indeed one of the better clips imho

In order to determine speed you need to know size and distance from observer.

There's nothing to indicate that this is a large object far from the camera - it's just as likely to be a small insect flying across the lens. Or a hoax, of course.

I don't think so, as I think we would see some kind of reflection from the other three cars that appear in the video.

If the car passing had a misaligned headlight, it would make sense that this is just lens flare. The speed of the flare passing towards to the right, matches the headlight passing to the left.

Here are the six frames in which the object appears.

I don't see any jump in the video, only the camera moving slightly up and down.

Edited to add that in the slow motion part of the video we see twice the number of frames with the object than the ones we see on the normal speed video, which I find slightly suspect, although it could also be a result of converting the video to YouTube and the original also has twelve frames with the object.

At Mach 13.5(around 10 000mph) that F-18 Super Hornet would turn itself into molten scrap metal sludge RedPanda94.

So I'm going to have to go with.

On this one.

“I don't see any jump in the video, only the camera moving slightly up and down.”

For lack of better words when I wrote my post…..yes….what you state, is what I meant to say….

The slightly moving up and down is amplified in my zoomed example

i took a screen shot, and isolated the "object", enlarged it several times. i'm leaning towards video overlay with the "object" frame rate increased it's just some white and black pixels shaped like a bar with nothing else.

Here’s why I’m leaning hoax……

Here are to consecutive frames…….notice how extra cloud was added…..after the object goes away

In Photoshop speak…..that’s called smudging and stamping effects…

This object is different in the four frames it appears in

Notice the step joining two halves of the object.

Notice the straight line…….which is to long ……imo….to be pixelization. If you look hard you could see the same “blocking” in the other image frames above

Definitely suspect to me…..

What I noticed was that it appeared to have emerged from out of the clouds and back into the clouds as it passed through the camera view.

Other people have commented that it might just be reflections from one of the cars driving by.

He wasn't looking through the camera lens when he saw it. He had actual eyes on it.

Looks like the car's light is responsible or light reflecting of the chrome on the car.

Sensor is oversaturated by the light source, that's also why the streak changes angles and vanishes when the car light. The lense is concave at as the angle from the car light changes, it traverses the curve over the lense.

Like walking by a concave mirror hanging in the shops.

There are other artifacts in the video, if the light streak in the clouds is considered a unidentified "flying" object, then I have to conclude that all the other light streaks could be tiny unidentified "flying" object, too.

That all is not to say it could be something different but for me the case is very clear. A camera lens reflection and the fact the streak goes the other direction of the car adds to it.

The jet fly-by was a computer simulation, lol.

Also in the lower left corner, (maybe other areas) you see a dark cloud that changes shape and that wouldn't happen if you didn't speed up the video. It also doesn't fly in or out of frame, just appears and then disappears... More of a light flash that maybe was sped up.

Totally in sync with the headlights, most definitely a glare artifact.

I'm going with the glare/reflection explanation, that's what it looks like to me.

That aside, earlier this season on Skinwalker Ranch, they had thought they had caught an amazingly fast UFO on video and even estimated it's speed to be ridiculously fast. I think on the last episode of the season they revisited some of the evidence. Upon review, that fast object video was enhanced and it was clear it was a bird, could even see it's wings. It was closer to the camera than it seemed, accounting for the seemingly fast speed.
