that is my problem with trump. He never deviated from hiring swamp, despite each and every hire he made from the swamp ended up back stabbing him.

Unfortunately he still supports swamp like rubio , if they tell him and the public what trump wants to hear. So I don't see him changing his hiring practices, especially since he doesn't really acknowledge it as his biggest downfall.

I didn't watch very much of the so called debate but what I did see wasn't much of a debate at all. It was a disorganized shouting match.

Donald Trump doesn't have the infrastructure and people to compete with the RNC and DNC political machines. He can't staff the white house let alone top positions in the deep state with people who are both competent and loyal. He has no choice but to use people from the RNC machine that are outside his sphere of influence. And even if he did have enough people from outside Washington to choice from why in the ever loving god would they agree to the job knowing that the DNC will seek to crush them and their families for even saying "hello" to Donald Trump.

It is this reason that he was able to even be indicted so many times. He doesn't have for example a Jill Stein who will try to "over through" an election on his behalf by messing around with electors; he has to engage in the palace intrigue himself.

Yeah I didnt expect much, as I mentioned early on i was more interested on how Vivek and Desantis would be treated.

Also I found it interesting that they had so many candidates up there, that clearly have no support from the masses yet they primarily controlled the clock .

A case could be made that they brought in the has been and the nobody basically to take time away from vivek and desantis.

Pence job was clearly to interrupt and kill the clock by mumbling BS. It was like he was trying do an anti-filibuster to make sure the 2 real candidates ( vivek and desantis) anyone was interested to hear didn't get too much talk time.

I wouldn't be surprised if Romney , Jeb, and Cheney throw in their hat for the next debate.

I will watch tomorrow but Bar was but only 1 of the many many mistakes he kept hiring.

It would be easier to list the personnel he hired into his administration that didn't end up back stabbing him and legitimizing the biden steal.

See, if you are elected on the platform of destroying the deep state, then it is that persons responsibility to carry that out. Even us nobodies knew enough about the rats he employed. So it stands to reason that he should have too.

If Trump were to admit and address that aspect of his presidency, it would go a very long way.

Then again, that wouldn't be very Trump like.

The man runs billiion dollar corporations outside of gov't, Im pretty sure he can find some non swamp associated creatures to bring on.

Also if he has to pick from the swamp then don't take creatures from the very top that have not only survived the longest but have thrived in a corrupted system. Take them from the middle management positions atleast.

IMO I think what happened is that trump brought his business mentality into politics. In business you hire the best that you can afford with the best qualifications to make you money. The problem with that strategy when it comes to govt is that the most qualified with the best qualifications are the guys that have lasted the longest in the swamp.

Also unlike in govt that strategy works in the business world , because there is typically a mutual benefit to both party. When I hire an executive for my company he gets a percentage of what I make/ so if I make more money heshe makes more money via salary, bonus, stocks, etc. There is an incentive for my executives to want to do right by me.

In govt you can't provide a swamp creature an incentive to do right by you because they are owned by the swamp. The swamp has the goods on them (Epstein) and enough goods to destroy them or even kill them off like epstein suicides. You cant offer any incentive to a swamp owned creature. That is why they all turned on trump. its in their best interest to survive and to survive they have to protect the swamp that has the goods on them and the resources to bring them down.

Trump never learned this and still to this day appears to still not get it.

exactly. It was clear from day one that trump fkd up when he hired Ajit Pai and Pai first action in week one was to kill the one thing (net neutrality principles) that allowed for the internet to exposed Hillary for the bs she was and allowed trump to counter the Fake news .
