58. I'll be 59 in a couple weeks.

A prostate exam is much different than a PSA. An exam is The Finger and a PSA is just a blood draw. It's a Prostate Specific Antigen.
Don't Put It Off. I hadn't had an exam in 18 years and look where it got me.

Congratulations!

How are you feeling? I went through basically the same routine in 2011--surgery, then radiation coupled with a testosterone blocker. It produced the exact same result--undetectably low levels of PSA more than 10 years later.

What they didn't tell me was that the combination of turning your testosterone off and the massive doses of radiation saps your energy for at least a couple of years. Honestly, it took me 5 years before I got back to the place where I felt fully energetic again. My metabolism took a dive and I put on weight, etc., etc. It's something you might want to talk to your doctor about to see if there's something they can do to prevent it.

My metabolism took a dive and I put on weight

Before the testosterone blocker, I had a insanely fast metabolism. I could eat whatever I wanted, as much as I wanted and never gained a pound and sometimes had trouble keeping my weight up. Now....I've put on about 25 lbs.

Energy is fine, I still get out and do all the things I've always done, but if I even look at a cookie.......

Stay strong. It's good to know positive things are still happening amidst the dark times we're living in.

August 10th of last year I went in for a routine physical...

Good job! Early detection is crucial. Keep up the good work and do what the docs tell you to do.

There is such a thing as a catheter condom kinda sticky to keep it on there and the hose is attached to the tip of it so there isn't the insertion of a rod.

I have some for motorcycling the bag attaches to the ankle and with the drain hose on it open... One of my bikes has close to a 4 gallon tank and gets 130ish mpg; The bladder and refills don't ever seem to really match up too well on bikes and holding it in or just letting it go as some people do without one of those is cause for a rash.

Glad you got the cancer knocked out.

So happy for you =) I have a question, any thoughts on your new life's new missions and decisions if you have so we can learn and apply them to our choices and mindset? It can be health wise and/or the way of living wise. Anything appreciated =)

Again, congrats! =)
