Remember blowdrying my hair when I hear on Good Morning America that IBM was jumping into the desktop market with an operating system call DOS.

I laughed my butt off thinking about how awful JCL was and couldnt image they knew anything about microcomputing. Boy did they have the last laugh on me. Well, not that they had the best, but nobody ever got fired for buying IBM

Before that, i used to work with the likes of old IBM 386 clones back in my apprenticeship days.

Ah, memories.

I was always on the cutting edge of computers working my way up through the 286, 386, 486, Pentium, and so on. It is crazy how far we advanced. I remember when they said that a gig hard drive was pushing the limits of what Quantum Mechanics allowed, and here we are blowing the doors off of limits yearly.
