A devious mind might try a plan like that, but not a wise one.
Would you spend millions on a property there now? It is going to take a long time to recover. The Hawaiian Islands are problematic and expensive. New
builds there, all at the same time, would require heaps of natural resources and raw materials that would have to be brought thousands of miles by
plane or ship. It will take a huge amount of resources. Even all the vegetation will have to grow back again. The trees will take a long time to be
anything like what was. There may have been wild fires there before, but these are taking out nearly everything. What an expensive thing it will be to
do now and, what with deliberate greedflation and destruction of industry and networks,it is gonna be WAY EXPENSIVE! Will it even be financially
viable? It will gobble the cash. It will not look pretty again for a long time, especially with all the heat there now.
The people who live there are rich people with second homes who are serviced by a local community I guess. They are all older people and this is a
huge blow to come in the Autumn of their lives. They are people who are connected to powerful players like Obama. There is no way the elite would do
this to those people. This is not their way.
There are many more savage surprises to come from the climate changes via serial killer Mama Nature. There is no way we are going to be able to change
in time. Nature will force us to change by removing a lot of what is causing the problem I think. Nature is never in a hurry. it may make all our
lives miserable for a thousand years if that is what it takes. It may leave just pockets of us or even send us back to kindergarten economically and
in terms of quality of life.
I was communicating in a thread with another member here at ATS the other day and we agreed that nature, via forest fires and eruptions will send a
lot of particles into the air to cool us down its own way eventually. This will make all our crops vulnerable and would bring huge shortages,
ridiculous inflation and big arguments over trade. We could suddenly start having huge amounts of heat then ridiculously cold winters, flash floods
and droughts. All extremes will happen. A darkened world always seems to bring plagues with it too. It sends everything very unpredictable.
The extremes in nature will produce extremes in us, in our politics and behaviour. We will want to blame someone for the misery. Wow, it may get very
ugly and life may not be worth living in such extreme, dangerous and miserable circumstances.
Emerging patterns in America: Droughts and forest fires, flash floods and extreme cold; politics becoming more extreme; law and order breaking down;
leadership not able to lead suffocated by the bankers and the backers.
It is similar in Britain and Europe. The Climate Crisis will test alliances, break up alliances and create new ones as the competition for natural
resources and raw materials for industry grows amid rapidly depleting resource pools with huge giants like India and China on the hunt too with
much mightier appetites to fuel their economies than us in terms of population; their growing wealth and what rich people desire. The customer who
pays most will be the one who can access the goodies. The rest will not get a look in.
Everythiong is happening together at the worst possible time. Why do we think the world is catching fire? I know why it is. Humans are not linked
enough to do what needs doing on a global scale. It is going very fast in totally the wrong direction. Who will put the emergency brakes on and make
it go the right way for starters?
Environmental policy cannot be unilateral. If only one does it they will not be able to compete economically or militarily with the ones who guzzle
without brakes. They will become politically and economically vulnerable, weaker with less political clout.
Our leaders and their Carbon Net Zero are ridiculously lame and naive. There has never been anything this dumb since Nero, Claudius and the other
Roman suicide squad of Caesars.
What these fires tell us is that there is no escape from climate change. The rich can't escape. There is nowhere to escape to. If they have trees and
vegetation on those islands, unless they are well careful and manage it as a strategy that prevents fire moving, the same will happen again.
Might I suggest that there is a good reason why hardly anyone lived before on all these islands in our world? They don't get to last very long one way
or the other. The only paradises have been turned into concrete ghost towns by us. Look at San Francisco as it empties of shops and businesses. What
is the point of even living in a city now? Everything is disappearing and we have no need to live all banged up in the same concrete cells together
like rats in a sewage system. Our lives are changing very quickly. San Francisco Bay used to be gorgeous only a few short years ago. It was paradise.
Now look at it!
Don't bother trying to find somewhere unspoilt as you will only spoil it quickly if you are rich and always covering nature with your concrete desires
and the business you need to keep you going in your new paradise. You even make little drug gangs everywhere you go as you love your coc aine so
much. You bring in men and women for your pleasure. You turn paradise into Babylon.
Why not go back to San Francisco and do the old place up? If you pool resources and investments you could make it look so natural and beautiful again.
It would be much cheaper than trying to create life on those islands again.
They have now stabbed themselves in their feet because it is going to be well expensive to ship all the building materials and plants out there if
they want to start again. It may not last very long again if they do. They create greedflation then have to suffer it and make it even worse.
It is all the wrong attitude in this world. We pay the price in flames.
