In another calculation, the professor used 48 prophecies (even though he could have used Edersheim’s 456), and arrived at the extremely conservative estimate that the probability of 48 prophecies being fulfilled in one person is the incredible number 10^157. How large is 10^157? 10^157 contains 157 zeros!
The professor gives an illustration of this number using electrons. Electrons are very small objects. They’re smaller than atoms. It would take 2.5 TIMES 10^15 of them, laid side by side, to make one inch. Even if we counted 250 of these electrons each minute, and counted day and night, it would still take 19 million years just to count a line of electrons one inch long. With this introduction, let’s go back to our chance of one in 10^157. Let’s suppose that we’re taking this number of electrons, marking one, and thoroughly stirring it into the whole mass, then blindfolding a man and letting him try to find the right one. What chance has he of finding the right one? What kind of a pile will this number of electrons make? They make an inconceivably large volume.

Lol, now why am I going to watch your video, when you can't even watch Paul Wallis's video? Because if you had, you wouldn't be making those remarks. The wall of kings pretty much sums it up, dude. I am not going to spoon feed it any more to you, as there is apparently a blockage somewhere. But this is pretty much what I expected. *yawn*.
Believe what you will. Me, I am going with what makes a whole lot more sense. TO ME.
I found the triune God through Egypt. Jesus starts in Egypt or the Ram to the Sheep conversion allegory .

So certain people around here keep contesting and accusing me of making up nonsense about ancient texts being twisted and molded essentially into the more modern day versions of the Bible. Now folks, ima tell yas: I don't often post links anymore because frankly, I read a lot of wide, varied, and interesting things all over, and I just can't remember it all. It is how I bring many of these topics to ATS. Yeah, you could call me somewhat of a search freak of nature. I go, I look at things, and delve in just deep enough to gain a superficial understanding of the material presented. I bring what I feel to be the most interesting here to ATS, and let the comments sort it out.
For those so long time invested emotionally in their Gods, shocking truths will often be discarded in favor of the running narrative. Maybe just because it's easier? Maybe because they cannot shed lifelong beliefs? Or maybe, because they have a vested, monetary interest somehow in perpetuating these things? I sure as heck don't know. And don't care really, to be frank. What you believe is up to you.
Now people like this here at ATS tend to be quite vocal about things when their core belief structure comes under attack in any way, shape or form- and ESPECIALLY when it comes from someone who does not share those beliefs. Like me, for example.
So because these people consistently come into my threads to shove their Bibles in my face, I finally found a key video that I was searching for, and had seen, which impacted me greatly. And you know what the irony of this is? THAT IT CAME FROM A 30-YEAR BIBLE SCHOLAR WITH MORE KNOWLEDGE THAN ANY OF THESE BIBLE THUMPING MEMBERS THAT CONSISTENTLY ATTACK ME.
So don't shoot the messenger. Because if you shoot the messenger in this video, you'd be shooting one of your very own. And considering a Bible scholar would not likely bear false witness, then perhaps all you TA-hunting assassins had better watch this for yourselves. And so here is the video link I will reference you to from now on:
Watch it, and then take it up with him. He did the research, not me. But I find it more credible than anything in your Bible or Koran. And in light of the recent testimonies of Grusch, et. al., all the more reason this research rings SO TRUE.
