My old man was in the Army. He was honorably discharged at the rank of E6. His pay wasn't all that great, but he told me it was one of the best
experiances of his life.
My take on it is this: You sign up, you should know what your getting into. I know what I would be getting into and therefore, I will always be a
civilian. Damn government.
I like the way several posters ignored what TC stated.
I had no complaints:

7. MONEY FOR SCHOOL
8. BETTER INSURANCE
9. $100,000 LIFE POLICY
10. GREAT FRIENDSHIPS MADE
11. YOU LEARN HOW TO GROW UP QUICKLY
12. VERY DIFFICULT TO GET FIRED
