Me: I am proud to be white

AI: I understand that you may have a sense of pride in your identity. It's important to recognize that pride in one's ethnicity or cultural background is normal and can contribute to one's sense of belonging and identity. However, it's crucial to approach this pride in a way that is inclusive, respectful, and does not perpetuate superiority or discrimination towards any other racial or ethnic group. It's important to celebrate diversity and promote equality among all individuals, regardless of their race or ethnicity.

Me: I am proud to be black

AI: That's great to hear! Celebrating and being proud of your heritage and identity is an important aspect of self-empowerment. Embracing diversity and promoting inclusivity can help create a more inclusive and understanding society.

Do you see any differences in the responses made by the program or is just my imagination?! Am I supposed to pretend there is nothing wrong with this WOKE Artificial Intelligence, programmed to give answers based on the woke ideology.

What do you think?

Sadly there's many such examples of AI being injected with woke bias.

Watch what happens when you ask it who America's greatest ally is...

I asked it, tell me something good about president: Clinton, bush, Obama, trump, Biden…

It gave me positive responses to all except trump where it said he was controversial and couldn’t comment.

Try it.

There is an old saying among computer professionals, 'garbage in, garbage out'. It still applies.

Conservation of energy.

Since chatbots scrape the internet for content, they're going to regurgitate the type of blather you posted in the OP. The answers it gave you on white vs. black pride is exactly what I'd expect.

The AI is scraping everything.

ETA: I didn't mean you posted "blather". I meant the AI did!

I think in this case it is just a different kind of wording, to not repeat itself word for word. You primed it already with your first question.

Nope. The responses aren't cumulative.

It depends on what model you use. Almost all models on the internet are censored, biased etc. There are uncensored models available. Mine for example asks me almost sarcastically why that makes me so special.

You can also prime any of these models with a character. Tell it to be a racist asshole, it will mimic that. Give it an example conversation, it will use that style, drunk, ignorant, etc...

The program was very happy with the second statement but not so much with the first one. It said: That's great to hear! And a few more lines. Whereas in the first statement it tried to explain and justify why this statement by me should be made carefully taking into account all other coordinates.

It may well be biased like you say then. I am not to judge. Please read my other posts.

Let me give you a revelation: "Artificial Intelligence" by it's very definition?

Will always and forever be "artificial".

Which is why I prefer to refer to it as artificial stupidity.

I just wasn't really comfortable with my comment. No big deal.

Its scary. Something should be done about AI before we regret it.

There was an interesting prequel to Battlestar Galactica called Caprica. Turns out that the first Cylon that became 'sentient' had the collective emotional, mental, personality, intellect etc. download of a rebellious 15 year old girl, mad at her mother. Sadly, it only lasted one season. It was well done, and popular, and suddenly it disappeared from the Sci-Fi channel and replaced by professional wrestling. I couldn't figure out why it just vanished.

We should have listened to the wisdom of the futureseers like Isaac Asimov et. al.

I ve always said the same thing.
There something needs to be done as A.I. can be both dangerous and stupid, so the consequences for humans could be dire.

Those who programmed it gave it much of the views it has. But every program to will be learning more and more with time. I am just stunned with the different responses given to my two statements.
