Coast to Coast AM had a very nice video of a lightning storm down in Florida. They guy taking the video was telling his companions to look at the lightning flashes( I've seen more intense storm and watched one for 20 minutes that was literally a pyrotechnics show in the clouds behind our house) when a light flashed across the screen , an orb streaked at incredible speed. it wasn't a lightning flash. He was asking if anybody else saw it and it was pretty convincing and didn't seem staged.

No... its as easy to say this time that its simply DCS. And Go Pro gimbals arent needed to edit footage. Unless the footage is handheld by a chicken its possible to do a decent tracking for compositing

A story from my one and only CE5 experience:

A group of us were led out to Giant Rock to do a UFO summoning with night vision goggles.

We all meditated and called the UFO's to show themselves to us. This apparently worked with a group the year before, so we were all waiting in anticipation. There werent enough field glasses to go around so we shared.

I was staring out into the desert dark night and I saw a blue glow off in the distance. And it got a little bigger and brighter. I said to the person next to me, do you see that? Soon we were all staring at the glow and getting excited. It's getting closer! Its hovering right over the ground coming toward us!

A moment later a local yokel in a flatbed truck with a large 'flying saucer' model on the bed that had blue lights glowing on it, headlights off, came hauling down the dirt road near the Giant Rock 'airstrip' and we all laughed until WE were blue.

It;s pretty funky out there in the Mojave.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a group of Ruralites pranking……it gives them a chance to get together to do some drinking and mess with the outsiders…..they probably got UFO hoaxing honed into an art form.

It gets lonely out there when your nearest neighbor is miles apart. Any excuse to group up to have fun at outsiders expense is probably worth it to them…..it leaves lasting stories….like …..you remember the time those folks came looking for UFO’s and Aliens and Jethro put on an Alien costume……and the folks ran off screaming to high heaven?

Of course it was Billy Bob having fun.

Giant Rock is a legend in itself.

It has a very bizarre history, including bootlegging, a dead fed, Howard Hughes and a time machine all rolled into one.

Also was the site of the first UFO conference/gathering in the US in the late 40s- early 50s. There were thousands of people there! Ive seen the old pics.

Maybe AJ will do a show on the Integretron.... I think I will post a suggestion to him over at Why Files.

More in depth, they use DCS, which is capable of making very good looking footage. You can basically spawn in any vehicle you like, including x-wings etc.

Case closed, and Marca are looking like trash media.

I know DCS very, very well. The video posted by the OP is 100% not DCS. You can tell just by the detail in the background terrain. DCS is not that detailed, more polygon-ish than anything compared with that video.

That said, no reason to believe it ISN'T some form of CGI though. Case re-opened.

Since the video was debunked, my theory takes a back seat.

All I would say is look at the Black Mountain area with Google earth, notice all those greenish/black circles everywhere... they aren't a mystery, search Center-pivot irrigation.

However, looking at the size/shape of the presumed UFOs, I thought those "crop circles" would make excellent landing pads... hidden in plain sight. Stupid, I know, but just a moment of naïve inspiration.

It's going to get worse. A plethora of hoaxes will come about.

I would say the sky color mis-match is, at a minimum, is a tell tale sign of hoaxing. I don’t know if the footage was ever fully debunked.

The sound is a compelling match
