All to further enrage the public. They know we know they're corrupt as hell. They want to rub it in our faces hoping someone reacts violently who they can then put on the news 24/7 as a dangerous extremist justifying further crackdowns on our freedoms.

Yeah, well eventually it's going to happen because they are cracking down on our freedoms. Only pensioners hope that it doesn't happen.

According to this article, the Bahamas would not extradite Bankman for the campaign donations.

Bank man is still facing the other charges in the indictment.

That's bogus. And didn't these celebs get away with pushing FTX?

What a failure of our system that lets the rich go free because they have great lawyers, meanwhile thousands of investors get screwed because they don't have unlimited funds to take Bankman-Fried to court.

I always never understoud how an average person who steals a small amount of money from somone would get locked up with hard criminals in jail. But someone who steals and defrauds people of multi-millions, often gets a slap of the wrist.

There is a "two-tierd Justice system" and its between the rich and poor..

Didnt he actually donate to both parties, albeit it was more secretive for the GOP? There was a good piece on how he want to be recognized by the democrats for his donations because they were in power, but want to keep the channel open to the republicans...

I believe that is true, the caveat here is this: There are alot of Republicans that are corrupt as well. The problem is that for the DNC its business as usual. The Republicans that took funds from him should also be under a microscope and if found to be in league with this nonsense also be drawn and quartered financially.

Trust me, I hate a those Republicans just as much as I hate the entire DNC. I do see hope for the Republicans though. THe younger Republicans (based on me watching congressional hearings over the last 6 months since I was crippled and on disability and seriously had nothing better to do) at least want corruption brought to light and even better to proseculte those that are corrupt, gives me actual hope for possibly the first time in my life.

I would applaud seeing McConnell, ROmney, Bush's? (and sadly his family) being brought to justice just as much.As well as a few others. They have sold us all down the river for their personal gain.

I heard that 4 or 5 of the additional charges were put on hold, as part of the extradition agreement, but that he could still face those charges at another time.

As far as I can tell, he's still being charged for at least 8 conspiracy and fraud charges, mentioned here.
