After mind numbingly going back and forth with certain members over the current political issues facing this country and seeing a one sidedness with the way they look at alleged crimes by Trump or Biden or any politician, for that matter.

I want to pose 2 questions that I have asked repeatedly in other threads but have never received a coherent response.

Name 3 to 5 things that the Biden administration has done to help regular American citizens since he took office.

And….

Name 3 to 5 issues policy wise that Trump had that made you hate him.

Depending on your political stance, you can switch Trump or Biden for either of those questions such as name things Trump did to help citizens and policy issues that make you hate Biden.

Remember there is no longer a Mud Pit, so try to keep it civil.

The current Left vs Right or Dem vs Republican “wars” have gotten to the point where there is no such thing as civil debate anymore on the merits of how politicians represent the people.

integrity is gone.

Biden could rape a group of nuns on the white house lawn, while Trump jaywalked, Trump would be arrested and the left would claim Joe did nothing wrong. It's hard to imagine anything other in clown world.

And for the record, Trump held out the documents, and might get dinged for that, and it would be all on him. But the legality of all that is up for discussion until he is convicted. The other charges thus far look like but hurt cry baby charges. If he went down for the papers, it would be quite the comedy, while Joe is working hard to show what "treason" might look like.

I do wonder, it we get the impeachment inquiry, and they do find the proof we all know exists, will the Senate be political, or honor bound?

You are absolutely correct.

I voted Democrat earlier in my life but I cannot in good conscience vote that way anymore.

I don’t believe the Democrats want to help this country and its citizens.

I don’t think they even care anymore if Trump is innocent or guilty, they are just trying to nail him out of spite now because he beat Hillary and they will never forget it.

They’re integrity and credibility is gone.

And that goes for a lot of people on the Right as well.

stars and flags but no one has dared to reply yet so ill set the tone (unless someone replies while im typing this)

I will give the pros and cons of each, as i see them

Biden Pros:
1) Lower prescription costs for my aging parents
2) Forced the open conversation of corruption in the government by displaying blatant corruption
3) He says he is working to remove Cannabis from federal scheduling

Biden Cons:
1) Negotiated with terrorist and placed American interests in jeopardy in Afghanistan
2) Possibly senile
3) Has taken no action to secure the southern border

Trump Pros:
1) Ended trade deals and treaties that hurt American interests
2) Attempted to secure the southern border
3) Brought manufacturing jobs to America

Trump Cons:
1) Failed to set a standard of information/procedure during the covid era
2) Pardoned Blackwater
3) reduced corporate tax rates

Does aiding in the exposure of the double standards and weaponization the DoJ count?

Does aiding in the bipartisan efforts of exposing voting transparency count?

would be nice to see it, but I'll not hold my breath.

I agree with almost every pro and con except Trump Con #1

As everyone knows, the Covid Pandemic was unprecedented in every way in the modern era.
I think he did the best he could with what was happening, was it a perfect response though? No.

They certainly do count.

Without a doubt, there is a double standard when it comes to who they investigate harder where alleged crimes may have occurred.

One of my gripes with the Democrats is their staunch refusal to assist in making some sort of voting identification a reality.
That is extremely suspect, in my opinion.

I just really felt like he failed to lead. He didn't take the reigns and allowed Americans to be mislead, in addition he was the one who signed off on immunity for pharma companies.
In a way he hurt more people by allowing the mixed messages he was sending, on one hand he was pro HCQ/ivermectin, but then he forced people into the vaccine mandates and allowed the health officials to demonize HCQ/ivermectin.

Again, as you said, an unprecedented event but still failed leadership, that was always one of his weakness, IMO

Biden Pros :

1. He is such a legitimate disaster that the Left will have to hold off on Running Michelle Obama for POTUS .

Biden Cons :

1. The Afghanistan withdraw was the worst disaster for the USA since 9/11 , and that is with the MSM playing damage control.
2. Completely dismantling our Domestic Energy sources and making future endeavors near impossible.
3 . The Southern Border.
4. Displaying weakness on the international stage to the point that Russia didn't hesitate to invade Ukraine

Trump Pros :

1. He legitimately Tried to do everything he campaigned on and that is something I've never seen from a POTUS.
2. Ended NAFTA and Encouraged Energy Independence.
3. He displayed Strength and a Spine on the International stage .

Trump Cons :

1. He has a Child like temper and feels the need to retort to every little thing said about him.
2. He didn't recognize quickly enough that he was surrounded by back stabbing traitors who wanted him gone.
3. He was Naive .

Name 3 to 5 things that the Biden administration has done to help regular American citizens since he took office.

This first one is hard, I'm not going to lie. Regular citizen excludes party line.

I'll try anyway...

1. Gave everyone money during his portion of covid. A few expensive stimulus packages, eviction moratorium. Immediate help with longer term debt consequences. Granted, any president would have done that, but it is technically something he did.

I'll get back to you when I think of #2 and #3. Everything else benefits only the left, like capitalism constraining environmental regulation and oversight crap. Excessive government expansion and spending. Executive orders to undo executive orders.

And if you like the idea of fighting and crusades he's totally affirming people's righteous convictions. I don't know if that counts.

And….

Name 3 to 5 issues policy wise that Trump had that made you hate him.

Policy-wise? That's hard too, because all my problems with him are that he's a victim card playing, spoiled, inherited wealth jackass.

None of his policies made me hate him. His policies actually made me fine with him. Underneath all it was pretty much Bush. He didn't screw with the long running bull market, but actually took credit for it, which was bizarre. He didn't end NAFTA, but only made a tiny tweak, and then changed the name.

He had a prototypical republican border policy (a bit harsher on determent and detainment of the illegals than previous republicans) and a slightly more moderate Tax plan. Lowered the highest bracket all of 2%, from 39 to 37.

Policy-wise he was like every other republican president since Reagan. Did enough to satisfy the right, but not enough to really change what works for the economy.

And I only need one reason to dislike him. Can't really hate a person for being his authentic jackass self.

So there you go, another incoherent answer for you.

well there is the one thing that's got about five things in that is supposedly a good thing that he got passed that was really nothing but pandering to his 81 million base, and spreading the money around to all the mongers, and getting his 10% or more and that was the infrastructure bill.

to bad all the dem ones can't see it's gonna hurt more than it helps.

Name 3 to 5 issues policy wise that Trump had that made you hate him.

nothing he did policy wise made me hate him, in fact most of what he did i agreed with. he cut funding to who, nato and un, tried to cut the trade deceit with china but the mongers wouldn't work with him, funny thing slo jo went straight to work undoing everything trump did or he undid it and went back to them a couple of times, but he didn't cut the trade tariffs with china. makes you wonder why, seeing how close he and crack ho ass slapper hunter are with them.

the only thing that got to me with trump was his button pushing. yea it was funny once maybe twice, but he didn't know when to stop. he got someone in his sights and he just went on and on. there comes a time to stop and deal with people instead of antagonizing them 24/7. other than that i think the U.S. was doing fine under trump.

Not incoherent at all.
Very good points.

Trump was a totally insecure man-child when it came to criticism, of which he had plenty but I would say that 60% of it was unwarranted.

I loved how Trump made the NATO countries foot more of the bill for THEIR security.

I don’t care for the endless billions to Ukraine now though.

money/weapons are better than blood, so long as Ukraine can duke it out with old farty i say give them all we can.
farty has a track record that's plain to see, i will never understand why people support him.

You lost me at: "...Biden could rape a group of nuns on the white house lawn..."

I put that one right up there with: "...Trump could cure cancer ....."
