This is an amendment proposed by the Senate concerning the disclosure of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP).
The implications are profoundly significant.

All Federal Government records concerning unidentified anomalous phenomena should carry a presumption of immediate disclosure and all records should be eventually disclosed to enable the public to become fully informed about the history of the Federal Government’s knowledge and involvement surrounding unidentified anomalous phenomena.

Right there..."shoud be eventually disclosed to enable the public to become FULLY informed ..."

Also I doubt we will be FULLY informed because the Act described classifying materials because why? We can't take it?

Looks like it will be more waiting for us.

Hmm..that word "eventually" is not great.

Eventually the sun will die.
Eventually the universe will not exist.

Eventually can be a very long time.

Eventually as in never?

and this:

Federal Government concerning unidentified anomalous phenomena in furtherance of comprehensive open scientific and technological research and development essential to avoiding or mitigating potential technological surprise in furtherance of urgent national security concerns and the public interest.

...avoiding potential technological surprise in furtherance of urgent national security...

Could it be all the citizens tax dollars going to the war machine aren't keeping anyone secure in the homeland?

In other words, the government is saying that sometime in the future, they will tell us about ball lightning and swamp gas. There is nothing in this law that says when and what the unknown things are. The fact they are unknown kind of lets them off the hook by letting them say "we don't know."

I will quote a tv commercial from years ago, "Pretty sneaky sis."

Honestly we might as well give any hope of the government coming clean about anything. Short of them landing all over the planet at the same time, all you will get is vids of maybe ufo's bright lights, and a few radar images. If there hasn't been a clear pic or vid of anything by now, with everyone and their brother having to film for titok, etc, it ain't happening. Just my opinion.

I'm not so sure about that because they included this within their Definitions Section:

(12) NON-HUMAN INTELLIGENCE.—The term ‘‘non-human intelligence’’ means any sentient intelligent non-human lifeform regardless of nature or ultimate origin that may be presumed responsible for unidentified anomalous phenomena or of which the Federal Government has become aware.

Starting on Page 27 onwards - disclosure looks to be unlikely because of what it states on these pages about disclosure.

Ah the pdf document is the same……but it’s the posts that differ.

Many threads have been on the same topic with differently worded titles…….but the members posts are rarely duplicated……and so whatever same topic thread is being posted to…..it’s the members posts that are always different and interesting.

If you want…..for future…. always look back up to 2 pages of titles in the forum to see that what you have in mind has not been a topic already posted 😉 if so, then post to the pre-existing topic thread to make it current and moved to the top of page 1.

Ok, it covers birds and insects then. Both being of some intelligence as they can be trained.

I recall reading animal intelligence has been measured by whether or not the animal can recognize itself in a mirror and so far only magpies, apes, dolphins and elephants can. So the UAP most likely will be a magpie, right? Unless some people are seeing flying pink elephants.

But eventually it will put pressure on companies that in secret work with the government in building technologies other native companies didn't get acces to , or not even given the chance to participate in researching offered by the government.

I Don't know if there's a law that says that the government can't be biased about equality in researching materials retrieved and that companies can fill in registration to offer their services to the government ?

this is, so to speak, a request to disclose everything, right? and what is the probability that this request will be complied with? of course, it would be fascinating to find out everything that nasa, the military and other secret institutions know about the subject - but i suspect that we are in the field of military and technological secret projects here and that stuff will certainly not be disclosed.

Perhaps in the process of disclosure there will need to be some form of reverse military coup where the military is taken over by some other comparable body?
