I know that I should add some comentary, but I really just don't know what more to add.

We've have well passed the point where satire is not mocking culture and politics, but actualy mimicking them. It's as though Jonathan Swift's contepmoraries had actually resorted to cannibalism.

I think of it less than a prediction and more of a agenda to assault common belief's of moral's. Actually it's more of a attack than a agenda at this point in history. No one deserves this, no one.

Can a trans man to female go to a gynecologist, would they welcome the trans or make them leave?

I thought the satire clip posted was a bit off topic to the memo. Different reasonings.

I just don't get why the trans people would WANT to join the military. It seems like an off-base career move somehow. Wanna serve your country? Become an EA tax preparer certified by the IRS.A branch of the government. Or is that not "manly" enough for you?

Joking aside, I can see the medical point of view of the Armed Services. If they are not up to the physical standards yet of the armed portion of whatever branch they're in, they shouldn't go to war or whatever. You're only as strong as your weakest link and, in this case, the weakest links are the one's who chose to go through complicated medical procedures WHILE being employed by a war machine. They CHOOSE to be down to 50% physical capacity.

And on a side note, I read in that memo somewhere that laser hair removal was considered cosmetic. An elective. That's fine. But changing the exteriors of your body so you can look like the opposite sex you were born as, while not being able to change hip size or DNA.........how is that also not cosmetic? Both are for show only.

Because it's not about joining the military or "serving your country." It's about pushing an agenda and altering the narrative.

A pervert is not happy until everybody around him/her/it is a pervert as well, or at least affirming their perversion. There's a passage from the first chapter of the epistle to the church in Rome that sums it up well:

28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. 29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

And they also demand the approval of all who see them because they cannot tolerate anybody speaking truth to them.

I can't see why. Both are about giving the sexually deviant special rights and considering them somehow worthy of special kid-glove treatment. Not "off topic" at all. The 15 year old Onion bit nails exactly what's happening today in the sorry, down-trodden, wasted, woke US military with its dementia addled commander-in-chief and its weak woke leadership.

Any and all potential enemies are laughing all the way to the field of battle. My son was enlisted and it always pissed him off when people threw the "Thank you for your service" line at him. Now, I'd be more inclined to say, "Sorry you got suckered in."

15 years ago The Onion was making fun of extreme trends in culture, but the trends it mocked seemed exactly that - extreme and way over the top. In the first decade of the century, few would have taken their little skit seriously. Now, though, we have this as a reality:

Oh looky here another trans thread by the bunch that thinks adhering to an anthropomorphic sky beings rules, gives them the right to threat humans as less worthy.

I actually have no idea as to what that reply is supposed to be trying to say, but at any rate ...

BTW, ad hominem attacks are the last resort of people who have no reasonable, cogent argument to stand on. You lose by default because you were unable to formulate a logical, factual reply to my initial premise (that The Onion's 15 year old satire piece reflects the reality of today) and had to resort to a personal attack.
