It definitely calls for some serious adjustment in spending and lifestyles. And strangely enough, China was recently calling for an increase in birth
rates. And them with all those empty cities.
Did China not see the repercussions of Covid19 on their own population and economics? Something tells me they weren't prepared regardless.
I don't care what country one is from, it's sad to see human suffering. Especially so when there are two classes of people, those in charge who are
exempt from the instability and the lack of basic necessities and those who are not. It's a recurring problem throughout history and you would think
that humans would have figured it out by now.
Things will get worse before they get better and many will suffer. It seems that some civil uprising may be in order as well.
And yes, I'm gonna say it. Learn how to grow sprouts (super easy) and get yourself some chickens, stock up on cheap organic alfalfa and broccoli
seeds for sprouting, spaghetti pasta (super cheap) beans and rice, salt and pepper and SPAM! Get a cheap used bicycle and tire pump and tire patch
aka duct tape, cards and family type games, pens/pencils and notebook paper, jump ropes and balls for recreation. Learn to live a simpler lifestyle
and teach your children. You'll be fine. And keep it as a standard. It's great to splurge when times are good but we never know when the SHTF
scenario will come due to environmental or other factors. Have a backup plan, good friends and good family.
I realize I'm mostly preaching to the choir but everyone should be encouraging their family members and friends to do the same. I do. But not often
or I wouldn't have my one friend left lol. Some of my very limited family are on the same page. The younger ones not so much. Unfortunately unless
someone has actually lived through downright hard and horrid times, it's hard to imagine that life could actually be a struggle to survive.
I personally believe we are very close to a worldwide shift. Not doom porn but some very hard times.
The forcing of:
energy source changes for heating/cooling and cooking
no easy access to cheap automobiles and fuel for transportation
lockdown that caused thousands to lose business' and more thousands to lose jobs, homes etc.
Try to get out of the large metropolitan areas.
That story in the video of a man who earned $800,000 a yr I believe, and suddenly laid off with no job offers, a lot of people are in his shoes. And
I'm sure none of those sleeping on sidewalks in China, the USA or other places that were once in comfortable beds with all that they needed never once
thought their life would change and they'd be sleeping under cardboard sheets and consuming only bread and water worrying if they would survive the
night.
Get healthy, get smart, and be prepared. Always be prepared. If you're prepared, you can actually relax and enjoy life, even when things seem to be
getting a little hairy. There is great comfort in knowing you will be ok because you are in charge of you and your success.
