Unfortunately or fortunately(depending on it's f) math the most theoretically solid concept we have other than the names for objects ie the name is
the relative truth the object itself the absolute truth as cohesion is holding the elements called rock together not the name. Before that as a
semi-solid concept it was music; Which is still being debated even when it has proper measure same with taste & smell. Contact or tactile sensation is
a weird one... Since it could be said all sense experiences are rubbing the sense bases in a sort of quasi-contact.
Math's only debate is when the datum is found in error.
But with conscious it is either present or not present as vital signs(other) a sort of heat(self0 goes. The two sticks of contact rubbing together to
produce a flame returning the conscious to form. Consciousness has no idea it is in another's consciousness as existent when it is unconscious; Sort
of like a mirror in the dark... What is difficult to pin down is by all standards consciousness is what being alive is and seeing an unconscious body
means that thing isn't alive... So where did it go? What was the temporary housing of it; Until the consciousness was regained? As before then there
was nothing to be experienced or could be conveyed as an experience even though people have tried... How long that unconsciousness is? Who knows...
Since there is no way to say what was experienced or how long if anything even was.
I've had several experiences of unconsciousness... One was were touch awareness came back before the other sense awareness as consciousnesses and it
was like being tumbled in a dryer, with no spatial awareness of what an; Up, down or the other eight directions were. As sight went all I could say is
it was blacker than looking behind the eyelids even in a very dark place, since food/drink wasn't around smell and taste may or may not have been
present as a last not being thought of as most dominate... I'd say sound would have been last even though those two were likely to be last. Hearing
unconscious as other senses becoming conscious? Means if I was screaming or making any other noise before hearing consciousness returned there? I
wouldn't have known it... Since I wouldn't have been able to hear it as that was an unconscious void at the time. All that experience really did? Was
make me aware that every sense organ has a consciousness of it's own; Not just the objects that share a space called mind; Like it's just some sort of
theater to the senses when inside a body.
It was only scary only to how disorienting it was having the consciousnesses return in that order instead of sight returning first; Which was what
always came back first before then. As to the cause of the unconsciousness; I don't know as I just went to sleep a few hours previously and it
occurred on what would be waking but since it wasn't really waking and coming out of a state of total unconsciousness... There's not much else I can
say about it.
If there is a sub-conscious existing it would be say; A small pain being covered up by a larger sensation of the organ or base that senses more
pleasure than it. So noticing an over all pleasant situation occurring in a sense; It would be wise to quickly shift to what part of that isn't in
that experience where on the surface all of it as an illusion was... As that's all humans really want; It may be counter intuitive to do that.
Meaning... That's precisely why one should. That small little part that wasn't enjoying the music is what Gautama Buddha would have called Mara...
Given the amount of times in sutra as soon as someone exclaimed: How fantastic, How amazing! Is when he'd strike.
