Looks like Gloucester Constabulary are throwing money at ineterfering in how doggers go about their business.

If you have been living in a cave, dogging is the act of having sex in public while other pervs get to watch or even join in.

Totally not my thing but if thats your bag, its up to you...until now.

source

They are putting cameras up at a well known dogging site outside Gloucester to catch or deter people.

Now, bearing in mind, these people are all adults who go out and do this when all normal, right thinking folks are tucked up in bed at home...who exactly are the cops trying to protect here?

I totally dont buy the public good argument as there are a million things that the cops could be doing to make everyone's life a bit better.

Well that's their excuse , cheap thrills more like.

I agree , as long as they're out of the way and not doing it on the local recreation grounds let them get on with it , adults will adult.

They’re looking for any excuse to install surveillance wherever they can.

This is another of their global lockstep projects.

I heard on the AM radio last weekend that due to the forest fires here in Canada the Forestry Department is spreading sensors in the bush, both by hand and dropped from the air.

The purpose is to detect heat signatures and camp fires in the wilderness.

A few years back they installed game sensors along the highways to detect wildlife exiting the wilderness onto the road.

People also have a heat signature and the road sensors also detect anything exiting the highway and entering the bush.

Soon any isolated area will be under their eyes.

www.exci.ai...

exci’s technology detects bushfires as early as one minute after ignition using satellite and ground-based sensor data that are analysed by powerful deep machine learning algorithms.

fernie.com...

The system uses warning signs that will illuminate when larger wildlife approaches the highway. Sensors trigger the flashing lights to give drivers fair warning to reduce speed.

They should vandalize and destroy the cameras until they are removed.
That's pretty much what AZ did when the state decided to put up speeding cameras. People kept destroying them until the state said it was a safety issue and ended the program.

What intersection is that and what is Gloucester’s airport code??? I want to spend a few weeks there and just ensure your council gets those cameras up and working. I have always been big on Gloucester safety policies, no clue why…

Closing down a public toilet in a place that that does not really need a public toilet is a start to discouraging this trade. What consenting adults do is non of my business.

In the bad old days gay men having sex in public toilets used to get done for outraging public decency. Which required someone seeing the act and having their decency outraged.

Seeing as how they would be in a locked cubicle one Plod would dangle another Plod from the roof so they could see in through a top window.

Got lots of convictions that way.

Very wrong.

I would post the old George Michael joke about Wellington boots and bogs, but best not...

That's some nefarious #. I hadn't thought they could power that kind of stuff remotely for long enough.
There goes everyone's SHTF live in the bush fantasies.

Blimey Sprocket do I have to tell you their game. It's a money spinner, the police take footage and they make the money by selling it on the net. Quite easy.

We are talking somewhat isolated spots right?? Perhaps we could just ... oh I don't know, break the cameras?? Take your car with a bike in it, park it a safe distance and then ride the bike, while wearing a face mask to stop the spread, then smash it, shoot it, spray it, and light it on fire. Take your pick. Killing cameras repeatedly is quite easy work, and if you pull it off consistently enough without getting caught they usually give up spending the money to replace them after a half dozen.

Not that I would know anything about this, I am just making educated speculation of course based on .... data from the internet. yea that's it ...
