Sen. Joe Manchin's planned trip to a "No Labels" event in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire has some Democrats worried he could mount a "spoiler" reminiscent of late Texas industrialist Ross Perot in 1992.

Manchin, D-W. Va, who has not yet announced his official intent to run for re-election in 2024, is seen as one of the last 20th century-style moderates in the caucus.

The senator recently told reporters his participation at the event is not a formal indication of third-party intentions, However, he later added that he's "never ruled out anything or [ruled] in anything... this is strictly a conference we're having."

As we know, when there is a third party candidate, the end result is, votes are split, and the original candidate will loose those votes to the third party candidate. If the guy is strong, he may get half the votes, but that half won't be enough when the opposition doesn't have that same drag coefficient.

I was a Ron Paul fan and was disgusted with how the right treated him. They were genuinely afraid of how strong his followers were, and tried to downplay his support in the MSM. They backdoored him and got what they wanted. Will the DNC do the same? They have two problems it seems, well, more if you are a realist. First, they have Kennedy who could get 10%, Biden who is inept, sad, and pathetic, and if Manchin steps into the square circle, things could get squirrely fast. Never mind that Joe is fading fast and may not even make it to the election.

I have to wonder, what if we get a really strange deal, and joey snaps and doesn't make it to the election, but makes it close. A constitutional crisis? Just some bad luck? Will there be time to run another candidate?

it's popcorn time.

Like you, I've always felt a third party candidate would split the vote but on reconsideration IF Biden is really the 'chosen one' and Trump won the GOP ticket, it just might boil down to a run between Trump and the third party.

A strong third party candidate could make for an interesting show, however I still can't bring myself to see - or believe - Joe will be in the final run for POTUS.

Did you bring enough popcorn for all, or do I need to get my own? Mind you, I have enough to go around for all.

I like Joe Manchin. He'd do a helluva lot better as President than the current mumbling, stumbling occupant of the office.

I totally agree, but that's kind of a low bar to be setting. Any rando off the street could likely do better than Joey.

I doubt it. No one likes Manchin.

He could draw "R" votes in a primary, but everyone knows the democrat primaries are rigged to favor the establishment. So that wouldn't accomplish anything anyway.

They are going to run Newsome.

I think the best bet to ruin the democrat's voter fraud network is if Kennedy runs with Gabbard

The economy is doing better. The best economy in the G7 countries! he passed the infrastructure bill that Trump tried to get done just about every month. The Chip act. Manufacturing jobs way way way way up.

And the FDA just approved the first over the counter birth control pill! (Watch the GOP lose their minds.)

Thank you dark Brandon!!

It's truly fascinating to see the pretzel logic used to keep from admitting the emperor has no clothes.

That's like saying the best gun shot wound to have!

Afghanistan shame, open southern borders, Bidenomics, lawlessness, the rise in fentanyl deaths, human sex trafficking, rise in taxes.

THis is what you want more of.

*golf clap*

Manchin is unelectable outside a state or 2 at the most

I'd vote for an RFKjr/Gabbard ticket

Is the only way to stop the DNC-anointed candidate (Biden, Newsome orHarris) is in the primaries to get Republican voters to vote for RKFjr swamping the Democratic primaries.

DeSantis is in failure-to-launch mode, Trump has no chance in the General election, and enough dumbasses have grown accustomed to the smell of chit from DC, that they prefer the status quo to actual potential change for the better

Yeah, I probably did say that and the republicans in the House turned into democrats.

As for the list?

It's all facts that cannot be disputed.

You either own it or not.

Over the counter birth control seems to be your crowning celebration!

I know democrats number one national priority is risk free sex.

Looking forward to seeing the forced birth crowd whine and cry. Because you know it’s gonna happen.

Yeah, because Republicans hate sex. That’s why you elected a president that has to pay for it.😂😂

I am not an 'merican. Though would love Kennedy to be president. From the interviews I have viewed of him. Hopefully he challenges the entrepreneurs entrenched in the establishment.

So why do all the women on the right look so f-able as compared to the overweight blue hairs out marching around in silly odd pink hats?

I should have clarified. Newsome will get the DNC nomination.

If Kennedy/Gabbard were to run as independants/3rd party after they got screwed in the primaries, I think they could pull enough D votes to spoil democrats fraud machine in the general in Trump's favor.
