Now I'm not sure about CBD.
Many shops here have opened, and closed?

But medically speaking, many pharmacies stock CBD, and millions of patients swear by it.

So this kind of state reaction is sad, but not surprising.

If someone wants to smoke, drink or use CBD it should be up to them as an adult to do so. I can understand smoking/drinking in public is a problem, and especially if they suspect someone is selling some of the items illegally, but that's it.
Anything else is ridiculous. But then again, this happened in Hong Kong .

Meanwhile drug-wise, by my experience it doesn't do a thing.

Perhaps sometimes when i suck a sweet I fall asleep a bit easier.

Is that a crime?
What you ban next?
Chamomile?

"Save our youth from decadent rock music and chamomile tea"!

NO,its the Chinese dont want people to use drugs because they want them to slave away for them instead. Drugs make people think, especially cannabis type drugs.Cant have free thinking individuals, because it can lead to rebellion.

Just because CBD is legal most places in states around the country...like from hemp...does not mean it is legal in other countries around the world. People have to understand this stuff before traveling to other countries. Don't take stuff like that when traveling to other countries where it is illegal to possess...or just go to countries where it is legal if you can't go without it.

Yeah, let every country make their own stupid and nonsensical laws.

In fact, let them bully and invade their neighbors.

But that doesn't mean in more "free" and democratic countries we don't have the right to criticize it.
