In the Netherlands the prestigious and national beauty contest, they crown a trans woman to become miss Netherlands 2023.

A quick search showed that lots of countries have transgenders entering their contest this year, I'll bet we see some of them again
at miss World and Miss Universe 2023

I keep writing and deleting because I have no words to describe how much this rubs me the wroooooooong way!

How on Earth does anyone think that a trans can compete against real woman in beauty contests? How on Earth can anyone think this is ok?
Each and every one of the participants (who didn't win) went home knowing that she lost because there is an entire hidden agenda pushing these unnatural, wannabe woman to the front. Look at that link in the OP, look at that face. Is that the face of a beauty queen???? No it is not. period.

What is worse is that every media channel has enabled commenting on the articles about this

I must say that many Dutch have nice butts as they use bicycles. I was riding behind what I thought was a 20 somethings butt. She was 70 years old. Yikes

I wonder how she / he looks in strappy heels. I mean other than pulling a Mick Dundee reach around one would never know ~ restroom

But honestly these contest have always devalued women to their appearance, and I've long suspected the backstage performances are much more match deciding than the show put up for you...
I guess women was always the victim and had to be cared for and understood in her voulnerable position.
they never had to make the effort to actually know what men want... Here we are, smoking hot plastic human comes along and blows the juries brains out... Just kidding, kind of...

On top of that, they are not called natural beauty contest as that would eliminate the bulk of contenders.
