The percentage of the population with some form of mental illness, mild to severe, is approximately 25%.
The percentage of the population that is not real is approximately 0%

Which option is more likely?

Mental Health Disorder Statistics

An estimated 26% of Americans ages 18 and older -- about 1 in 4 adults -- suffers from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year.

It's social media, they want to exploit and there seems to be no understanding or a denial of societal mental disorders. Anyway, no sympathy out there. Gotta get those clicks.

I’m leaning towards some sort of paranoid episode.

Not a paranormal episode.

The surveillance society has come so far that having a meltdown of any kind runs a high risk of it going viral.

There’s weird spooky things for sure but I’ll bet this is just people doing stuff.

Anyone recording or posting anything about someone in mental distress is a selfish attention seeker looking to gain click from people of the same non-felz off someone else's disability distress, it's disgusting to me.

Maybe we should be looking at their inability to look beyond their own kicks.

Look at it this way.

How many times have you heard about this happening on an airplane over the years?

Sometimes it's alcohol, other times it's never mentioned. Just a psychotic episode.

I think the look on the woman's face was genuine fear.

Now the big question is... How many people that you know that drinks alcohol has mental breakdowns like this suddenly and starts seeing imaginary people? It might happen but just how much would you have to imbibe to get to this point?

I also think there are sick people in this world, much more than we'd like to admit that would target someone pre-flight, slip them something and video it for the views - these days. It's sad.

These are just weird!

You apparently didn't read the thread, did you? The story was posted here the same day it happened as noted on this post on page 1. Then, 2 days later, instead of just posting the story, Spanky made this new thread asking what if she's not crazy and she was really sitting next to an alien?

I wondered about that too, after seeing the movie "Reality" based on the freaky FBI transcripts leading to the arrest of the woman who leaked a classified document about Russian interference in US elections. But they only read a few lines from that document at the end and it doesn't seem to be a smoking gun.

Then there are the lawsuits against Fox News who was alleged to broadcast false answers to that question, seriously damaging the business of the voting machine making companies like Dominion and Smartmatic. Apparently Fox News didn't have evidence to support the claims it was making because a judge ruled 20 of the claims they made to be false in the case of Dominion where they settled with a $787 million payout, and smartmatic said they expect to get at least that much plus an apology for all the lies.

So if the woman on the plane had freaked out about the fox news reports about how many votes were not real, that would be more understandable since there were some false allegations, and disputes about that.

There was a case years ago when a plane crashed in the US and after investigation they re-used some of the in-tact components. Several independent flight crews over the next few years seen the Captain of the plane mysteriously appear and vanish on those new planes.

I’ll see if I can find the name of the airline. They took it so seriously that all the re-used parts were subsequently removed from the entire fleet.

You may be meaning “SHOCK DOCS: GHOSTS OF FLIGHT 401” which aired on the Discovery Ch sometime ago.

It was Eastern Airlines….and imo…yes the parts used from the crash and used subsequently on other craft …were haunted.

Great episode btw…

IMO the spookiest thing about the Eastern Airlines flight 401 crash involved this picture taken shortly before the flight.

www.panicd.com...

The two girls in the photograph that are having the devil horns (Patricia Ghyssels) and the one jokingly being choked (Stephanie Stanich) were the only two flight attendants who did not survive the crash.😱
