Maybe you need to get over your confirmation bias of "the usual ATS members' clickbait posts" and realize that there is good information floating around if you don't just stick to the sources you know and love.

Yea, I suppose the term "nutters" is off putting.

I don't believe they should be punished. But yea, they need to be separated from normal society. There's no cure for extreme forms of mental illness and so often these people just go off their meds and wreak havoc. They need to be able to live out their lives in a controlled/supervised environment.

We have the means to early identify these people. Take the Uvalde shooter for example. He was well known to the police, the school officials and his family to be extremely violent and anti-social. Nothing was done. Did these people just not care?

Years ago, the government decided the best way to treat these people was 'in the community" with out-patient services. The mental health hospitals were closed down and the mentally ill were released into general population. I've worked with these people......a lot. They often times end up in the prison system. They are generally speaking incapable of self-regulation; go off their meds, fall into alcohol or drug dependency. And all because the mental facilities were closed down.

It's a mess; it's a mess that's made commercial aviation a disaster. It's a mess that's made public transportation a disaster.

The AI bot attacks are done by others not by me, I don't have to resort to those types of manipulation tactics. If you reread this thread it is actually others referring to me as AI or it or AI control board. Check your facts first.

Why am I wrong here? Because people did actually look back, so what, nobody became alarmed. That was the point I have been trying to make all along. Also what is the purpose of this thread, why don't we do a deep dive into that topic?

No, for that specific thread the fox news and other sources, except CDC, plus the OPs thread title all proved to me to be clickbait. The evidence is there, but invisible to many who wish to not see it.

I was already an adult when Geraldo Rivera made his name by crusading to close a mental facility in NY that really was a horror show.

It caused a fever through out hippyville, free the mentally ill. The idea was, if they are no danger to themselves or others, and are not incapable of any kind of self care, they should be free, not locked away, as mental illness isn't a crime.
This was the mantra.

The states all hopped on the bandwagon, because they like to close down expensive govt expenditures.

And Reagan got the blame.

That needs to be in the context of my reply. I was explaining how others here on ATS are using this new manipulative tactic on me and others - go back and reread the conversation for clarity and context.
