In the 1970's a "dime bag" of marijuana was $10 and enough weed for 10 average sized joints.

Here's one. The "lumpy" variety: maryjanesdiary.com...

Asking the Secret Service to find how the Secret Service let Illegal Drugs into the White House, is not wise, is it?

SCOTUS Justice John Roberts asked Supreme Court Security to determine how (at least) 1 of 16 possible subjects got by Supreme Court Security to post a draft copy of the Roe v Wade decision online, back in May of 2022.

To date...the investigation of Supreme Court Security into its failure, is still ongoing.

I was 13 in 1969 and lived 20 miles from Juarez Mexico. A 'lid'' was an ounce of weed. It's what you could scoop up on a coffee can lid. 4 fingers wide in the sandwich baggie.

It was 10 dollars. It was called a dime bag too. Until it cost 20. Then it was just a lid. Now they just say ounce and it can run from 150 low to 400 (or more) depending on qualitity and location.

But I don't know a damn thing about coke.

Whats a dime bag?

See why they did this? Instead of just tell us the amount? Why the secrecy? Are they trying to sound 'cool' or are they purposely confusing us?

I heard some reporter on FoxNews use the "dime bag" terminology this morning to explain the Cocaine. I think he was just trying to downplay the significance. FoxNews is always more "pro Biden" on weekends.

I know alot of younger people know alot more than us old coots about this stuff. But why can't they speak in language the average person would understand?

I bet nobody asks KJP on Monday what a dime bag is. I so would if I was there.

Can you picture her explaining? Its a tiny amount, a miniscule amount. Not even enough to get a mosquito high. It's totally almost not even there. The investigators are counting molecules.

I'd rather hear Kamala Harris define a Dime Bag of Cocaine...haha.

BTW...CocaineGate is already causing trouble for Democrat's 2024 aspirations.

So it seems the coke was in a more secure area than originally thought that would not be accessible by anyone without Presidental access clearance. I'm thinking the SS was just tired of all the crap and called it in as a suspicious substance knowing full well who it was in the first place.

Clicking the article link works for me. I'm not a Boston Herald subscriber. Anyway, here's the whole thing...

The 2024 presidential election is shaping up to be the dirtiest in 140 years.

And the discovery of a stash of coc aine in the White House last weekend will only add to the expected political nastiness, especially as President Joe Biden’s degenerate son Hunter, a one-time crack coc aine addict, is living there.

Whether it is Hunter Biden’s coc aine or not will make little difference. People will believe that it is. Stashing coc aine at the White House, of all places, will be an issue in the campaign even if it is covered up. So much for the war on drugs.

Back in 1884 New York Gov. Grover Cleveland, the Democrat presidential nominee, and a bachelor, was accused of fathering an illegitimate child ten years earlier.

The Democrats in turn attacked Republican candidate James G. Blaine of Maine, former Speaker of the House, accusing him of outright lying and corruption.

In the American Gilded Age version of attack ads, Democrats hounded Blaine with the chant of “Blaine, Blaine, James G. Blaine, Continental liar from the state of Maine.”

Not to be outdone, the Republicans went after Cleveland with a mocking song and chant by children at Cleveland’s public events that went, “Ma! Ma! Where’s my Pa?”

After Cleveland won the election, the Democrats responded by chanting, “Gone to the White House, Ha, Ha, Ha!”

In the campaign Cleveland, while never sure he was the father of the child, accepted responsibility and assisted the child financially and tried to set the mother up in a business. People admired him for his honesty.

That act alone stands in sharp contrast to the way Joe Biden does not even acknowledge the existence of Navy Roberts, his four-year old grandchild that was fathered by Hunter.

It took a court order by Lunden Roberts, a former Washington D.C. stripper, and a DNA test to prove that Hunter Biden was the father.

Hunter is now paying $5,000 a month to support the child neither he nor Joe Biden have never met or acknowledged, although Joe Biden often brags about talking to his six grandchildren every day, eliminating Navy, his seventh.

What is sadder is that the child knows who her father is and that her grandfather is the president. She also must know, or soon will, that he won’t know her.

How cruel is that?

So don’t be surprised if some fast-talking Republican political consultant restores the old Cleveland/Blaine chants, both of which fit, and applies them to Hunter Biden and the White House. He is the “Pa “and he is in the White House, “Ha, Ha, Ha.”

But it is more serious than that.

You now have coc aine in the White House, which is a symbol of the Biden’s failure to confront the drug crisis that is daily killing thousands of Americans, destroying families and ravaging our cities.

If you can find coc aine in the White House, you can find it anywhere.

And the best thing you can say about discovering a stash of coc aine is that it was not deadly fentanyl that is killing thousands daily.

Biden has opened the border to the world and millions of illegal immigrants have crossed into the United States without the U.S. even knowing who they are. The Mexican cartels have gotten rich openly using migrants to carry drugs into the U.S.

The coc aine that ended up at the White House no doubt came from Columbia, Bolivia or Peru where it is processed and shipped to the cartels in Mexico to be smuggled into the U.S. There is little to stop them.

Chinese Communist suppliers also send the components of fentanyl to cartel-controlled laboratories in Mexico where the finished substance is made, often mixed with other opioids.

The fentanyl, like the coc aine, is smuggled across the border and ends up killing Americans in the streets of cities across the country.

It is the biggest cash business in the world. The cash goes to China and Mexico, but the death toll stays in the U.S.

There is coc aine in the White House, Ha, Ha, Ha.

Wake up, Joe.

Good point. If there was no Evacuation of the White House that Sunday evening, we would not have any idea Cocaine was found.

Also, you could be right about the Secret Service becoming fed up with covering for Hunter. They've been doing it ever since Joe Biden was Vice President. (Senator Chuck Grassley's report describes how they covered for Hunter while met with hookers and held wild hotel parties overseas.)

I feel like the SS also found the classified documents in the Penn center or garage. But they didn't turn the POTUS in, they let him make a statement that his lawyers found them. Nobody pays lawyers to go thru boxes at $200+ an hour.
And that would be a bargain basement charge for a paralegal.

Traditionally, the SS isn't supposed to see and hear everything, if it's private to the POTUS. So they are very careful to not spill beans.

Bill Clinton pulled all kinds of scams to get away from them. He didn't like their presence when he was up to no good. And Hillary didn't like them either.

All I can say is, you haven't worked in civil service in the US govt with a clearance. I have. I would have seen it in the little office I worked in for DoD for 30 years. I know some folks smoked a little weed after work, and some I suspect may have snorted some coke on weekends also... I don;t know anyone ever stupid enough to try to bring it past the gate on the base. That's the culture. There are dogs. Sometimes going thru the buildings. 'Training' they say. Gotta help out the military even tho all the employees in the building were civilian.

I find it very hard to believe any employee did this. And visitors don't use this entrance they now say it was found at.

I work in a high security environment yet, I suspect, far less than the Whitehouse has.

I find it very hard to believe that the surveillance system database doesn’t reveal who left or dropped it.

It should take about 15 minutes of review.

The only obstacle that I can think of is if the blow was dropped or placed further back in time than the database retains footage.

Security footage at the White House is retained for longer than the package store down the block I would think.

They know who's it is.

They just don't want to blow his plea deal.

The House Oversight Committee will be briefed on CocaineGate this coming Thursday 7.13.2023 by the Secret Service.

The briefing will be held in a Highly Protected SCIF Setting, according to Committee Chairman James Comer, which is highly unusual.

If someone in Congress leaks it. The Secret Service is not even honoring official legal requests for information...

The U.S. Secret Service on Tuesday declined to honor a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for communications related to its investigation of the coc aine found at the White House, saying that to release those materials would compromise the investigation.

Bloomberg investigative reporter Jason Leopold posted the response from the Secret Service to his request, in which the agency stated that "disclosure could reasonably be expected to interfere with enforcement proceedings."

The rest of the letter outlined Leopold's options to challenge that determination but offered no other explanation for the agency's refusal.

FYI...The head of the U.S. Secret Service is a big Biden Crime Family protector. And, the department who overseas the Secret Service is the U.S. Treasury department. The U.S. Treasury is also a big Biden Crime Family protector.
