I miss the real ATS. It brought me here in 2002. Real discussion, real denying ignorance, when proof was given it was accepted until it could be proven otherwise. Now, folks on here have tons of proof, evidence, on various subjects, and they reject fact to replace it with nonsense. I'm still giving it a chance, maybe we can get past politics and crap to be ATS again.....

I think a lot of the members are bots and algorithms. Who cruise the web trying to push or deflect certain themes. The reasons are to soften the censorship.You can sense a change in the past few years.

It's been so long, I hope I haven't confused you with another member. My memory may be slipping, but that just means I forget to worry about the things I've forgotten!


Does seem that things have slowed down around here. I'm currently chalking it up to "mass psychological fatigue", most likely due to the lingering trauma(s) compounding over the last few years.


A sort of mass PTSD? That, and the fact that I seem to be noticing a high percentage of posters revealing mental wellness issues than was ever recognized back in the old "pre-pandemic" days.

i have always considered ATS to be a bellwether of our curious population. Lately, there has been a lot of unrest, confusion and disrespect in the world and it certainly reflects here. Many of our lost members were very sensitive to this.

If things get better here, and a lot of the intellectual and civil members return, than it will mean the world is a happier and more peaceful planet.

When you study the CT crowd and forums we are a lot older than most imagine most are between the 50 to 80 years old range and are dying of fast .

Since covid started I would run out of fingers on both my hands the number of younger friends and aqaintences that have dropped dead , with death rates at war levels it can be seen in the forums with people dropping away not just at ATS .

If you are lucky one in ten of the CT crowd would find this place and admitting you are into CT well that gets you looked at funny these days .

But as I remark it is not conspiracy theory when you can prove it

Its a mixed bag for me, while I definitely miss the older style threads about the illuminati, stargates or electric universe and trying to get phage to admit we never went to the moon, I can still see value in SOME of the political threads, so long as they have special slant I look for. I don't come here to read the news but I will say that it usually shows up here first, been that way since forever.

A lot of older members that I hold in regards, wouldn't recognize my original accounts if they were dredged up, and I haven't really participated on this account until recently. I see this with a lot of members, they seem like new accounts at first glance. I have even been accused of being a shill due to this. I know that doesn't promote others to partake.

I do like it when the owners, MOD's and staff take part in threads though, I don't see that happening as often as it used to, mainly with the accounts I am familiar with, from before they were even mods, but not from the owners any more. Not to say they don't have their reasons but there is something special about that when it happens, for me at least.
I wish the current owners would pop in sometimes and give their two cents occasionally. maybe I'm just reading the wrong threads?

I don't think you're reading the wrong threads. The world has changed, gotten more terse and less friendly, and that is reflected to some extent here at ATS. When the OG sold ATS, that put us all -- members and staff alike -- in a zone of indeterminancy, where none of us knew exactly where things were. So, we all do that which we've always done here -- we plod along and dive into new stories and ideas, and try to distance ourselves from the negative folk that cause difficulty.

I think in these times, we are mostly defined by our ability to adapt, and I intend to adapt the # out of things. Life is wonderful, crazy and frightening. It's an amazing time to be alive, yeah?

I'm going to call it. It's dead. And no, it is not Darko who is at fault... I'm going to keep the rest to my self. I will say that since Darko took over, the site has loaded much faster, and there is less trolling. But not everyone agrees on what is trolling, be that user or staff. The problem is somewhere in there, but as I said, I'm not going to specify any more.

As people on this site know Have no qualms about posting, vids from Bitchute providing that they are valid with backup. There was a rumor that MI6 had taken over the site. The site was full of information regarding the Covid scam, from well-researched independent scientific sources. But it didn't change overnight it was a slow change, so something has changed. By looking at what is no longer available. The perpetrators have advised what they do not want to become common knowledge, which is the Death and injury stats from the vaccine. To any conspiracy theorist, this is a delight. Control of the internet would be a must for any totalitarian takeover. This unfortunately removes the probability of a Conspicacy, to highly probable. Free speech is essential to free thought, as the truth is a judgment call when you have full access to all the available facts.
So working on the logic that we really are in a slow depopulation curve, which we were anyway before the covid psyop. the extent of which is obscured. Then at least the reality of a major world war occurring when this is underway is highly unlikely and a mere distraction to the unfolding events. We could also ask what news memes have replaced real information. Which is basically a political distraction.Comprised of he said she said, Hunter Biden Trump, etc. Total BS for mass deflection from the real issues. Which in many countries are pointing to the collapse of the prevailing system.
