My journey of the 88 Temples of Shikoku Japan will start next week

Hello ATS members.
I'm sorry but I just can't post pictures here on ATS any longer. Don't know why?

I am just a person on a bike/cycles throughout travels Japan. I am going to do the Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage next week. This Pilgrimage is where everyone around the world comes to hopefully touch with their inner spiritual spirit. I plan on about 3 weeks . It is the rainy season now so I most likely be camping under the bamboo forest and seeing the deer observe me as I put up my tent at night.
If you can, please come to Japan and experience the happiness that is on your souls of your feet as you put them in the mountain streams .

this is an international pilgrimage of world -wide recognition. This is will be my step 1 off a cross country tour from Yamaguchi to Hokkaido back to Kyushu then to Okinawa and then to Miyakojima Okinawa. At least I want to share what it is camping under the stars in Japan. I will post on ATS Discourse . Maybe 6 months traveling.

It is so good to hear from you.
Yes, Asia is different and offers so much friendlyness as one travels. Here in Japan I can even camp on the front yard o the farmers houses and in the morning they bring me miso soup and rice and egg.
I don't look like a threat to them since I'm only 5 foot 3 so the doors of welcome have always been kind to me.
In the mountain ranges where there are bears we have to stay close to houses to camp at night.
Man, don't be jealous , get on the plane and do it. I'm 70 and yet I'm like a teenager on a bike that the wind is his roadmap these days.

PLEASE post pics. As a furniture maker I am fascinated by Japanese carpentry and in awe of the temples that have stood for centuries, held together by nothing but joinery.

I do not have a time schedule so I can say I'm an adventurous cyclist.

I'll start the tour of Shikoku on the 28th. Follow my blog and on ATS Discord. Should be a fun adventure for me, although it will be very hot now. Also it is still the rainy season and then typhoons. What could go wrong, right?

Also if you have Whats App, send me a message here. I live in the countryside where the Shrines and Temples have some amazing woodwork. I think you'd like to see them pictures.

For those that want to feel the spirit of my journey here is a pro video. But my life here is simple, I even sleep on the bus benches at night. The path that my feet will take on my bike will open up a closeness of my 88 Temples. I am going to smell the life that we seek in peace with our journey in life.

I think that Gmail does have a size limit for attachments.

I visited the in-laws in Iwaki last month.
