The evidence that the Sun drives the Earth's rotation is based on scientific observations of celestial bodies, correlation with day and night, the Coriolis effect, and astronomical/satellite observations.

And then there is "Foucault's Pendulum" which demonstrated the rotation of the Earth.

As to evidence that the Sun will eventually stop shining, well again thats based on scientific theories and models that are supported by various lines of evidence some of which include stellar evolution, nuclear fusion, and observations of other stars.

You realise the timescales involved in stellar evolution are on the order of millions to billions of years?

What am i saying you probably think the Earth is only 7000 years old or thereabouts.

Our Earth rotates because of its initial angular momentum and the conservation of angular momentum.

Angular momentum being a property of rotating objects depending on their mass distribution and rotational speed.

Earth spins because of the way it was formed. Our Solar System formed about 4.6 billion years ago when a huge cloud of gas and dust started to collapse under its own gravity. As the cloud collapsed, it started to spin. Some of the material within this cloud gathered into swirling eddies and eventually formed into planets. As the planets formed, they kept this spinning motion. This is similar to what you see when skaters pull in their arms and spin faster. As material gathered in more closely to form a planet, like Earth, the material spun faster. The Earth keeps on spinning because there are no forces acting to stop it.

The rotation of the Earth is an intrinsic property of the planet Itisnowagain, again down to angular momentum, and the conservation of such.

But the Sun plays a significant role in many of the planet's processes.

Like for instance the gravitational force which influences the motion of objects in the solar system, including the.......Earth.

The there is the fact that the Sun influences weather patterns and climate on Earth.

Again there is really no dispute as to how the sun influences our world.

The Same as there is no logical dispute as to the shape of the planet.

Or the fact that there is no such thing as a glass firmament around the globe.
