TV network has guests that say they have captured a mermaid on camera

It is not the Disney mermaid I imagined. I read through the videos comments and people have interesting stories of their own. What are your thoughts on this?

Fake pictures and videos have been around for many decades, and this is just one of the many poor examples.

There have been so many hoaxes throughout the years that it will be impossible for many to accept 'the real deal' should it ever come along, which I highly doubt will ever happen.

Yea, these faux docu dramas get old quickly, some were spawned by the ratings success of Finding Bigfoot. Wasn't there one about a fake megladon?

Back when it aired in 1923, I almost bought it but then I realized that those are fake mermaids - they weren't hot like the real ones are.

Besides that Mockumentary mermaid show is well aged…and the cast as noted already, are actors.

I thought about putting it there in the Cryptozoology thread but I just seen a bunch of stuff about a very tall hairy man that eludes people. So I decided this must be one of those unidentified creatures out there and best suited to a aliens forum.

I guess…..one approach you could have done in your OP is to present an argument …..that perhaps….

Mermaids if they exist……could hypothetically be a race of aliens that came here long ago from an aquatic planet…

It could be, they were explorers in search of a new home.

Our history tells tales of them and encounters with mariners on the surface of the sea from day’s of old.

Perhaps adding this vid to your OP as well…..



And anything else that comes to your mind that might connect Mermaids to Aliens.

Never stayed at a Meridian motel so I can't say I have ever seen a maid in one of them. The one in the video must have gotten her hands wet with toilet bowl cleaner too often.
