I would like to invite you to write a scrip for a film you would like to watch.... It's a free market where many people sell their scripts and can make millions without a lot of effort. You can write, give it a shot...

You shouldnt tell people what words they should or shouldn't use. How long are you people going to continue to control everyones language? Lately when I communicate with any leftist it feels like I am talking with an old school marm that REALLY REALLY wants to slap my wrist with a ruler.

the gist i took from what you're saying is the older generations like blair bush, clintons, soros and trump like the elderly political class before them cause all the trouble because they fight modern problems with ideas that no longer work and are well passed their sell by date, as we'll see with how biden is approaching current us problems.

that's the core of the issue in the 70s and now we're dominated by an out of date political class and we're now so far up the creek we're just along for the ride until it all falls over cliff..

Boomer has just recently become a slight. And yes, leftist did that. To me, as a GenX age, boomer just means my mom and dads generation. Nothing more. Do not allow the left to define terms. They do this on purpose. There is a very powerful reason for doing so for if you cannot know meaning then you cannot challenge authority. That sort of has its modest roots going back to Pataphysics in France I think in the late 1800's and was first used as a way to mock the status quo of that time in Paris.
Therefore it was adapted by the surrealistic movement that was technically the baby of pataphysics. Sadly however Marxist like Breton (1920's ? forgive me its been a while since I studied that world) chose to make the surreal movement political and communist (as he was a communist) and from his theories on language, art, political thinking and so on was a direct line to the cultural marxist movement which was a 1930's and 40's thing. The main progenitor of that was the Frankfurt school which saw the writing on the wall when Hitler seized control. America, as always, full of toxic altruism invited these monsters to our universities to teach the brightest youth (back then only really smart or really rich kids went to college) the nonsense they thought up. Nonsense as it was it is still effective though as allowing meaning and definition to change at your whim will allow you to win any argument regardless of how completely farcical it is. Especially if you have the crowds agreeing with your nonsense.

Anyway that was a bit much - I personally have no real problem with boomers. My parents and so on were grreat people and they were kind people. However, many many of my pals had parents that were more concerned with their lives and left their marriages in search of themselves they would say, and that had a very detrimental effect on our society - and it still is.

Hopefully that explains my view on boomers - and it isnt as if kids dont call me a boomer because they do. I look old and that is just what they all call old people. Regardless, instead of being hurt by a term that has be redefined, wear it like a badge of honor. Dont be insulted, say, "Thankyou little guy, let me tell you about all the amazing things my generation did that helped the world."
