On march 10th of this year, something rare happened. Democrat and Republican legislators voted almost unanimously to declassify information regarding the origins of Covid-19.

White House mum on declassifying COVID report after unanimous House approval

This bill was signed by Joe Biden on March 20th.

Biden Signs Bill Declassifying Covid Origins Intelligence, Will Release “As Much Information As Possible”

“Today, I am pleased to sign into law S. 619, the “COVID-19 Origin Act of 2023.” I share the Congress’s goal of releasing as much information as possible about the origin of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID–19).” Biden said in a statement.

Being reported today:

U.S. Director of National Intelligence to Declassify All Information on Covid-19 Origins by Sunday as Required by Law

“In 2021, I directed the Intelligence Community to use every tool at its disposal to investigate the origin of COVID-19, and that work is ongoing,” Biden said. Biden claimed his administration would declassify and “share as much of that information as possible.”

Public Law Number 118-2, enacted on March 20, is brief yet decisive. Comprising only 418 words, the law compels intelligence officials to reveal all they know about the origin of the coronavirus.

Recall, the Director of National Intelligence released an initial finding on COVID-19. The finding stated, “The IC assesses China did not develop SARS-CoV-2 as a biological weapon. We remain skeptical of allegations that SARS-CoV-2 was a biological weapon because they are supported by scientifically invalid claims, their proponents do not have direct access to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), or their proponents are suspected of spreading disinformation.” ABC reported, “investigation concedes that “both hypotheses are plausible,” the nearly 300-page document released by the minority on the Senate health subcommittee makes a circumstantial case that the “preponderance of circumstantial evidence” points to “an unintentional research-related incident” — an undetected aerosol leak — likely at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), as the first spark which would ultimately ignite the pandemic.”

Telegraph has more on the story:

Three things to watch as US intelligence prepares for Covid ‘lab leak’ reveal

As the deadline for the release of the US intelligence looms, we list the three key areas on which Law Number 118-2 demands full disclosure. “Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of National Intelligence shall declassify any and all information relating to potential links between the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the origin of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19), including:
1. “…activities performed by the Wuhan Institute of Virology with or on behalf of the People’s Liberation Army.”
2. Declassify any intelligence which shows “…coronavirus research or other related activities performed at the Wuhan Institute of Virology prior to the outbreak of Covid-19.”
3. Declassify any intelligence which shows “…researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology who fell ill in autumn 2019, including for any such researcher: the researcher’s name; the researcher’s symptoms; the date of the onset of the researcher’s symptoms.”

if they do this, won't it make Fauci look like he tried to cover up the lab leak on purpose? Good thing he retired.

I wouldn't hold m my breath for this. Look at how it's worded... “share as much of that information as possible.”

We'll get redacted paragraphs or whole pages will be unreadable.
The govt does many things, but what it does mostly is lie.

I saw this about a week ago. There's some very interesting, yet not so surprising facts presented here.

Covid was first isolated in 1965, and shortly later found to be easy to manipulate genetically.

Sounds like a perfect way to rally the people against China and start a very public war. How convenient!

Thankyou for continuing to do such a good job of following up on big news stories, and keeping ATS abreast of your findings!

We are now at a most optimistic moment.

I would love to be able to read the truth about it. My guess is that it will have huge blocks blacked out or it will be so whitewashed it will be meaningless to wastes the time to read it.

They are doing this because the origin they reveal is a carefully contrived set of circumstances making up a trail to a conclusion that they want you to reach.

AKA the "Lab Leak".

It will be heavily redacted, I'm sure.

And nobody will be held accountable.

If China's Xi Eleven took out a full page in the NYTimes bragging about how his country invented Covid-19 with Dr. Fauci's help, neither China or Fauci would be punished.

Americans would still keep buying "Made In China" without giving it a second thought.

There's not a chance in hell this administration would release the truth of covid origins. Simply put, it's a total conflict of their own interests.

You'll sooner see corporations denounce Pride month.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

If the information comes from the FBI, it has to be a lie. I did enough research in the first few months after it started to know everything I needed to know to come to my conclusions on the origin. No one will ever disclose that this was engineered to be a biological weapon, so we won't get the facts for that outside of a whistle blower, like the ones in China that disappeared after talking about it early on.

lol... you mean they are voting to publish the least damning summary, based loosely on true events and edited to protect the innocent who are associated with but not convicted of criminal misconduct, so at least their BS is consistent even if transparently false

🙄
