Believing that "these humanitarian groups" had being rescuing when these ships when they come closer to Libyan shores they are often told to leave the area by the Libyan Coast Guard.

They ignore the warnings.

Arrests are 'chilling message' to humanitarian groups, says Human Rights Watch

He went to Greece to stop migrants from drowning. Now he's in court, facing prison

Trained rescue diver Seán Binder travelled to Greece six years ago, to help migrants and refugees who got into distress making the perilous Mediterranean crossing to Europe.

Territorial waters are still a thing.
Countries are allowed to enforce their own laws.
It's good that Libya can even do that.
They had no government for years after they killed Khadafi.

Unfortunately Libya is a still failed state with no real goverment just a temporary UN led goverment.
While the factions are still have their rebel groups.

The strongest is in East Libya.

Reminds me of the Marine who probably saved lives on the NYC subway train, and is now going to prison.

Exactly. If you use force you hold the responsibility.

One of side, of course, sea rescue is a must. But what is going on there is no sea rescue, without all these sea rescue ships waiting for them, only a few of the people would dare to enter the sea in such a vessel they are forced to use. But knowing that there are countless sea rescue ships doing nothing else than searching and picking up these people, they often die trying.

Don´t get me wrong, if i would come from where many of these people come from, i also would sit in such a boat too, waiting to be picked up by the so called sea rescue and brought to EU soil. But such a trip costs between 5000 and 10.000 Euros meanwhile. Only people who have something to hide risk their life on such a human trafficker boat instead of buying a first class plane ticket for even less money. It´s a big business for the human traffickers, made possible by countless so called sea rescue ships who are only there to continue the work of the human traffickers(to bring cheap labor to the EU), paid by of course all these "people loving do-gooder- NGO´s".

Less of these so called sea rescue ships (they aren´t sea rescue in reality, who else do and did they rescue?), less of these human traffickers boats, less business for human traffickers. That´s a fact. But we are told that less of these "NGO" ships would mean more dead people but it is exactly the other way around. Many people wouldn´t have died there, in hope of being picked p by such a "NGO" ship, many of the dead people wouldn´t have tried to flee by that way. These NGO ships are a magnet that costs the life of many people there.

And all that because of the demographic problems the decadent west i live in has, all that to push wages down and keep them low, to put pressure on the working population of nations. These "sea rescue ships" are there for everything else than to really rescue people, they are part of an easy to follow agenda. A desperate attempt of the robber baron capitalism to fix some of the problems the robber baron capitalism created by itself beforehand.

If they want cheap labor they should simply say it, then pick the right people and pay them a effing ticket for a flight. But they use these other ways, for whatever reasons. Ways to make it easy to flee and enter the EU for criminals, for war criminals, for terrorists etc. Instead of picking the right people we really could need here. But at he end, somebody with a good education, coming from Africa for example, meanwhile rather stays we he is and watches from the outside how parts of EUrope are going down faster than meteorites fall from the sky.

Here in the EU, especially Germany, well educated people flee since years (to where they as people and their labor are welcomed and not exploited), kind of a brain drain. And all we get in exchange are uneducated people from the worst parts on earth who don´t speak our language and know nothing about Germany and it´s people at all. In the best case a few soldiers of fortune, in the worst case lot´s of criminals and what else. We simply often don´t know who arrived and if it´s true what he says about who he is, how old he is etc. And somehow, nobody of those responsible wants to really know as it looks right now. Maybe they can´t find educated people (all these doctors, professors and rocket scientists they promised since 2015) simply because these people are educated and not stupid enough to enter a sinking ship, so all that´s left is what we get since years.
