Conspiracy Theorist.
The mere mention of these words conjures up images of an unsavory creature. Unkempt hair and with a five o'clock shadow, sitting in a dark room. The
dull glow of a computer monitor weakly accentuates his sinister features, the cherry of a lit cigarette waves carelessly through the air, bearing mute
witness to the insane ramblings that fill the stale smelling room. The ramblings of a madman.
To his left, the discolored wall is adorned with a large bulletin board. Newspaper clippings hang haphazardly from push pins, and varying colors of
yarn stretch from paper to paper, a color code denoting various connections between the conspirators. He hasn't slept in 72 hours and hasn't bathed
for weeks. There is no time. He is on to something BIG. An earth-shattering conspiracy involving the Vatican that is sure to disintegrate the
corrupted pillars upon which our entire rotten society lays.
Perhaps you can even use your imagination to hear what this diabolical doozy of a man is muttering to himself in the dark?
"But who to tell first?! The neighbors? I think not, for I fear they may be part and parcel to the coverup! The police? HAH! They are all in on it!
The FBI? NAY! They would love nothing more than an excuse to throw a straitjacket on me and toss me into a padded room. No....... I must take this
directly to the President of the United States of America! Yes. Yessss....... I will sneak into the White House at night and bring my evidence, he
will have no choice but to take action after that! But what if the Secret Service confronts me? FOOLS! Then I shall have to kill them! The future of
the entire world is at stake!"
As this looney loner concocts his Machiavellian melodrama, the last granules of sanity slip to the bottom of his mental hourglass, dooming the
innocent civilians that will surely fall into his precarious path of violence.
This is the image that government agencies have worked toward fostering in our minds, deeply embedded, as to be a near-unconscious triggering
mechanism of our brain. Although the term "Conspiracy Theorist" had invariably been bandied around before, 1967 was the year that saw it become
weaponized. John F. Kennedy had been murdered in 1963, spawning much talk of a conspiracy by rogue elements of the U.S. intelligence agencies to
silence him. You see, he was becoming quite vocal about the blatant imperialism of his beloved country. He also hinted at abolishing the private
banking cartel controlling and manipulating our debt-based economy, the Federal Reserve.
This is what a rational person would call several motives.
It is also what Uncle Sam would like you to believe are mere coincidences.
After the assassination, there was an official investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr. Kennedy's untimely demise. It became unofficially
known as the Warren Commission. The commission published its findings in September of 1964, and was immediately met with backlash and ridicule. It was
rife with preposterous conclusions, glaring omissions, easily proven lies, and convenient coincidences.
Enter CIA Document 1035-960.
Titled "Countering Criticism of the Warren Commission Report", it was a memorandum that was disseminated among the CIA's agents in 1967. It was in
response to the FOIA request which the New York Times had filed, which wanted the truth and not the contrived, sloppily assembled fairy tale explained
in the Warren Commission Report. It explained in detail how the agents were to avoid, deflect, and ridicule any discussions involving criticisms of
the Warren Commission. From this point on, and of course with the incessant and incestuous cooperation of government and media outlets, "Conspiracy
Theorist" began its long and continuous slide into an increasingly derogatory, yet vaguely defined term.
At some point, merely questioning the official story of any given event, or pointing out obvious inconsistencies, earned one the scorn and ridicule of
his/her peers. Critical thinking became seen as an act of defiance, an unnecessary exercise of the brain. It became patriotic to never question the
version of events touted in the media. To swallow the hook, line and sinker of the political fishing pole swung by the nightly news. Uncle Sam always
knows best. Just ask the Native Americans....
In order to successfully distract the populace, to divert the people's attention away from the nefarious actions of The Powers That Be (TPTB), it
became necessary to manufacture division and strife amongst Americans. A fractured society is impotent, like a toothless viper, unable to coalesce
into a formidable and determined foe. By the year 2000 it had become abundantly clear that the criminal cabal barely needed to disguise their actions,
as long as an official report always cast the blame on a convenient "enemy".
The treasonous events that took place on 9/11/2001 accelerated not only the U.S.A.'s wars of aggression, but its war on conspiracy theorists as well.
In George W. Bush's now infamous speeches announcing the new "War on Terror" (How does one wage a physical war with an ideology anyway?), he
implored the American people to not entertain "outrageous conspiracy theories" about 9/11. He would also state, rather ominously, "either you are
with us, or you are with the terrorists". In layman's terms, that would mean either blindly supporting the war machine's wanton destruction of
sovereign nations, or you are a terrorist who must be destroyed.
This marked a dismal transition period for the conspiracy theorist. A confused and very emotional U.S. populace was now standing at a precipice. The
majority decided to take that final plunge into insanity, supporting the wars based upon lie after lie after lie. Into believing that
Muslim=terrorist. At the very least, the ones that took that dive refused to dig any deeper into the infestation of evil weevils which saturated our
government's structure. The few left standing at the precipice were in a precarious position.
Becoming an advocate for the truth became increasingly unappealing. People were being disowned all over the country by their family, by their loved
ones, simply for voicing an unpopular opinion. By not believing that a former CIA operative, who was not only on kidney dialysis but also living in
caves in Afghanistan, coordinated with Arabs to hijack planes with box knives and crash them into buildings in the most heavily guarded airspace in
the entire world. Families were torn apart as hatred for Muslims spread through the U.S. like a hot knife through butter.
TPTB had successfully sown the seeds of discord, which would germinate into a warped tree bearing the toxic fruits of their hideous labor.
