What if they look just like us?

Unless they evolved down here on Earth, i can't see why they would look just like us, unless they have the technological means to do so.

People would indeed just get on with their lives because the world spins.

Only people that would not be able to handle the existence of Alien life in this day of age are the diehard religious sorts whose sensibilities would be offended.

As to chaos and mistrust well there is plenty of that doing the rounds to go around already if we are honest.

Idk. There's no reference point when it comes to being an alien... I'll start asking weirdos about spaceships, I've been warned about talking to myself tho.

There was a photo of a supposed alien taking a selfie from a space ship in front of a planet. It was the front cover of scientific American I think, as a artist rendition. However people were able to zoom in and find tiny hairs that an artist would not add.

Anyone have that magazine/photo?

what if they came here a long time ago, experimented in inter-breeding, and that is why some have 'broken' dna causing all kinds of disorders? what if, by now half of the population are half-breeds? What if, this is the reason why some bloodlines talk about 'pure blood'? what if...

Have some faith in the goodness of humans, we're better than that.

I can only think that if they have been watching us they are smart to stay hidden.

They see how we treat each other. Especially if there is any difference in the way we look, think, or believe.

They have to believe that they don't stand a snowball's chance in hell of getting pass, "Take me to your leader". Or knocking on a door.

Maybe not.

In 2008, the then director of the Vatican Observatory, José Funes, said that "Christians should consider alien life as an 'extraterrestrial brother' and a part of God's creation".

He also said that "this is not in contrast with the faith, because we cannot place limits on the creative freedom of God".

The thing to remember is these entities can take on any form they want. They can shapeshift into anything they so desire. See that person over there? That is possibly one of these entities, not a 'standard' human being. See that tile slate on the roof in that house next to you? That could well be one of them. See the bird sitting on the cable over there, it's staring at you right now for whatever reason................... Well that birdie might be well be one of them. They can shape shift into anything they want, even to "look just like us."

I don't think most people that simply pay religion lipservice would have significant issues accepting the existence of aliens ArMaP in this day of age, same as the Vatican alludes to.

Just be the likes of say the Westboro Baptist Church sorts and other hard-line religious lunatics that would be having kittens over what's pretty much obvious to most.

The universe is a big place and given the sheer size and scale of it all to think we are the only sentient life to exist there is sheer arrogance after all.

The chance that an alien would look like a human is interesting, although unlikely given the infinite possibilities that would shape alien life and the (almost) impossibility of aliens having a mirrored evolutionary path.

I guess the question would be whether aliens speak English, or not.

That makes me think of Enki. And if we are going by the official story of history I don't see how it's possible that anyone is pure. But maybe. Idk. I like thinking of the what ifs.

I read somewhere that we look like ghetto thug gangs to them. Imagine going into the inner cities and seeing the gangs shooting and killing each other for dumb stuff like someone crossing into their territory. That's pretty much earth.

But who says they came from another planet? There is the possibility that they came from another dimension, or another time period or even underground. We just don't know and I damn sure don't trust the government to tell us the truth.

From my experience they are telepathic and you would hear them in any language you speak.

The thing is we only have our own point of reference to imagine if you don't try to think outside the box.and even if you do think outside of the box it's still hard because it's hard to imagine something that doesn't exist in your frame of reference.

Hell, what if they do what we call shapeshift. What if they are able to make us see them however they want. Think about this.... When you hear something you are just getting vibrations and then your brain translates those vibrations. I have audio processing disorder so what I hear a lot of times isn't the words people say. Because for some reason my brain translates the vibration into the wrong word. What if they can make your brain interpret the frequency wave that you are seeing and make it look like another human. Similar to the movie they live. In that movie you had to have those specific glasses to see the real thing.

Does it matter if they are extraterrestrial or inter-dimensional?

They would still be alien and have evolved in another place to our own race aka Earth.

Hence would most likely be different from ourselves in ways that we cannot possibly hope to imagine if indeed infinite diversity in infinite combinations holds any weight across the universe/multiverse.

As to trusting the government, well trust is a funny notion, as all you are essentially doing is giving others a finite amount of time to feck up and let you down.

Kind of hard to get anything done in this world all the same without a modicum of trust involved, and that goes with people and institutions of power.
