The bridge hasn't even been built yet but it's collapsed for a second time in a year , probably a good thing as State officials have ordered an investigation.

I marvel at the strict standards we have in the USA for construction methods, materials, licensing, designers, etc.
It’s insanely corrupt and incompetent in much of the world. Payoffs to officials make it so that anything goes. You ain’t seen nothing until you’ve seen guys running up and down bamboo scaffolding that’s barely standing up, block and brick on their backs, bare feet and shorts.
