Leaked RAF Emails Complain of "Useless White Male Pilots" Because - Diversity Targets

Last year I wrote a Thread about the female head of RAF recruitment resigning due to the policy of "positive discrimination" against white male pilots that was implemented by Head of the RAF Air Chief Marshal Wigston , member Silcone Synapse replied with a link to a former RAF jet pilot now a trainer in which he airs his frustration at the news , a frustration felt by myself and other Brits no doubt.

Fast forward to today and e-mails have been leaked that show recruitment officers refering to white male applicants as "Useless White Male Pilots" , not because they couldn't fly ... they never got that far , "Useless" because they were male and white ! , angry doesn't come close to my feelings on this as an RAF brat and proud Brit.

White men seeking to join the Royal Air Force were described as "useless white male pilots" in leaked emails that expose the pressure placed on recruitment officers to improve diversity.

A number of selection boards to place new recruits on courses - a crucial part of maintaining the fighting strength of the RAF - were also cancelled if they did not include women or ethnic minorities, according to the messages, which have been seen by Sky News.

It can also be revealed the air force is paying £5,000 each to 31 white men - a total of £155,000 - who it found had been unfairly disadvantaged by a recruitment policy that - under the leadership of Air Chief Marshal Sir Mike Wigston, the head of the RAF - sought to boost female and ethnic minority ratios in the air force, according to a defence source.

The man responsible for this , Mike Wigston , retires this week with no doubt a nice pay off and gold plated pension .... I would suggest that rather than that he is arrested and brought before court-martial , if discrimination is illegal then what Wigston did is illegal.

My uncle, Al McDicken, was an RAF test pilot. Happened to be a white male. He had to eject once over Britain and keep his nerve long enough to not drop the plane on someones house. Thats some scary sh!t. Its not a job they should ever be hiring seconds for.

Not that a woman or other races couldnt handle it but they shouldnt be giving these dangerous jobs to anyone but the absolute most experienced and talented regardless of colour. Theres way too much at stake including civilians lives and expensive machinery.

this follows right along with the President of the United States picking a VP out of a pool of Black Females, excluding all others who might have been fantastic at the job. And apparently she is fine with knowing she only got the job due to her race and gender.

Military pilots that fly mut- million dollar jets, need to be the best, not the best choice of a small group.

That became a secondary consideration to checking the right diversity boxes as your main qualifications.

The US cabinet is a prime example of how well the philosophy works too.

But this has been and continues to be a problem in the US. You may be a proud Brit, but if you're a useless white male, you owe no allegiance to the UK government which actively discriminates against you. And you certainly owe no respect to those in uniform who have benefitted fro these policies.

Actually, an enterprising recruiter just starts treating the gender box like sports teams tend to treat height. Isn't it amazing how athletes get an inch or three taller in the media for ghe team?

It's been that way for quite a while now. So called diversity is more important than competence. It's truly disgusting and history will not remember it fondly.

When their planes start falling out of the sky or getting shot down in the next hot war because their diversity hires idiots to whom they gave planes based on being brown with funny accents can't fly worth a crap, we "useless white males" will have to just sit back and laugh at them and shout, WE TOLD YOU SO, MORONS!!!

The other sad thing is this isn't lifting anyone up. Instead it's tearing things down, making them worse. It's going in the wrong direction.
