The British police had detained a Journalist from the Grayzone a website for Alternative news and opinions.

The Journalist had interrogated upon his arrival in London and subjected him to a 5 hour interrogation about his political views and reporting.

Is this what you say that Western Europe has freedom of the press?

British Police Detain Journalist From The Grayzone

Klarenberg’s interrogation appears to be London’s way of retaliating for the journalist’s blockbuster reports exposing major British and US intelligence intrigues.

In the past year alone, Klarenberg revealed how a cabal of Tory national security hardliners violated the Official Secrets Act to exploit Brexit and install Boris Johnson as prime minister. In October 2022, he earned international headlines with his exposé of British plans to bomb the Kerch Bridge connecting Crimea to the Russian Federation. Then came his report on the CIA’s recruitment of two 9/11 hijackers this April, a viral sensation that generated massive social media attention.

It wasn't just the British journalist that was arrested but also in France a french publisher was arrested.
For just publishing content on the pension reforms.

French publisher held and questioned about his views on Emmanuel Macron’s widely despised pension reforms. There was also the chance they wanted him to lead them to sensitive content he had or was planning to cover.

Whats going in some parts of Europe? the politicians are being nervous of certain published content by independent journalists? and those who would question certain polices like the pension reforms?

Fitting for you to use them.
Also fitting that your source is the only source reporting on this and it being one of there own "reporters".
Also funny that Kit fealt the need to say they don't accept money from any state.....and very specific about this..."not Russia"...
Bwahaha jeez man

But I will give you credit.
If you are doing all this spreading of information as you see it and to not be making monies is truly a powerful commitment. I applaud your resilience.

It is quite fitting that fealt is part of the word fealty.

Yes, it's difficult to work out how much of this is made-up and self-publicity, given that no one else is reporting this.

Six plainclothes officers surrounded Klarenberg . . . They refused to tell him their names . . .
thegrayzone.com...

I question the identity of those 'plainclothes officers'. I doubt they are actually police.

Grayzone is interesting, but most of their material could be covered by simply saying intelligence officers and agents are everywhere messing up everything. You can identify them by the constipated look on their faces. Keeping in those secrets takes an inevitable toll on the features.

It wasn't in France, it was in the UK, as the whole paragraph shows:

He wondered if the question was a public relations stunt devised in response to the media outcry this April over the British counter-terrorism police’s detention of Ernest Moret, a French publisher held and questioned about his views on Emmanuel Macron’s widely despised pension reforms. There was also the chance they wanted him to lead them to sensitive content he had or was planning to cover.

Another source on the Ernest More case.
