Funny....so Trump isn't even connected to these scams except the scammers use his name, but somehow it's Trunps fault?

Which political figures and donors are buying Hunters art for hundreds of thousands? Nobody knows, because the Big Guy blocked that....

Seriously....this is laughable.

We got us quite the little gaggle here.
I see these silly golden dollar bills all the time. I’ve always assumed they were worth about 10 cents real value, but you buy them for a buck or two to give to a little kid who will wonder if they’re super important and valuable.
Sometimes they have Trump on them, sometimes several other presidents.
Any adult assuming that they’re real currency, or an investment, should be in a group home. Not allowed to handle money.

Here's the rub. I am a Trump supporter. When Truth 1st opened as a platform for PC's. I registered. One of the first post's I seen was 'Get your free Trump gold coin' And it looked like it was Trump himself offereng them. So I clicked on it. It turned out it was not 'free' after all and was only free if you bought like 5 or something and it was an sponsored ad not a Trump truth. I was kinda upset about it in fact, the ads did however dissapear not so long after. I thought to myself what a scam and why would Trump allow this garbage advertising? Maybe he did have the as removed?

Those ads are everywhere. Every web page has some ad for a Trump coin, watch, hat, or something. He’s only the most marketable, best known name in the world right now.
If it was on Truth Social, he probably would never know it unless some professional complainer somehow whined loud enough. There’s many layers and a lot of people between Trump and the staff that does the marketing, ads, web page management. There’s no way he decides any of that.

Don't know who's blaming Trump for this, but it's certainly not me. I'm aware that as a public figure he doesn't have copyright control on his own image and that as a popular figure he's ripe for opportunists to use. I *am* saying that because he sells similar merchandise with similar language that he 'trained' his audience in such a way that when a Trump product shows up they will buy it, believing that it supports him.

And scammers love that kind of gullibility.

So when this con falls apart and the government has to step in to freeze the funds and investigate it all, what happens to the money?

Is the money returned to the naive people who got conned, or is the money just taken by the government to cover the costs of the investigation and the prosecution?

Poor gullible people.

So many scammers, so little cash.

They’ll start eating their own. Hilarious and predictable.

And yes, trump showed them the way!

My God …… because Trump ever sold anything himself, he “trained everyone” to buy all the other crap out there.
I’m awestruck at the non-reasoning and TDS that runs rampant here. Just dream up bizarre things about Trump that make no sense, but still scream it from the rooftops anyway.

This? The selling of fake money? The government isn't going to investigate it. They clearly mark the bills as "not currency" and are therefore not responsible with what happens to the bills.

So no lawsuits, no government investigation. Just a lot of people buying stuff that they don't need and that turns out to be worthless.

The story the op brought states trump nor his campaign are in any way involved.
The facts mean nothing to those who wore the pink crocheted hats.

Nothing nefarious going on here... The more people think all donation sites are scams, the less people will donate. Such a good Samaritan thing for all these anti-Trump sites to report on, as if they really give two #s about people who support Trump, lol.

Great point.
Interesting people would be opposed to the first amendment in such a way?
Who knew?

President Trump has NOTHING to do with this scam, or the story in the op; as quoted from the actual story:

No evidence suggests the alleged scammers are connected to Trump or his re-election campaign.

All your innuendos and misinformation won’t change the actual facts.

They'll keep pushing these stories while fake Trumpers sell Trump things. Eventually, they think, people won't believe any Trump donation site or memorabilia and will stop donating. They pretend to care, but we know they couldn't care less about Trump supporters.

Yeah, suddenly they care about what happens to Trump supporters? HA! I remember when they said anti-vaxxers are killing everyone, too, then suddenly it was our fault for not telling them that vaccines were dangerous and they needed our common sense.

That's another thing that pisses these people off. Trump has tons of memorabilia you can buy and has been being bought since 2015. Obama had a few shirts that were made and passed around, and Hillary had a button and a shirt. Nothing else could sell. The guy they love to hate is still selling stuff to this day though.

Trump haters are big mad.

Despite the shame factor, a second person steps forward to announce that Trump caused all the scams on the web.
Yes Virginia, the internet is here for the poor souls who need it the most.
