Ahhh, so the man in the white house really did take us from being a powerhouse and spend us right into the poorhouse. He must think he's in a playhouse because he's also turned this country into a flophouse which some believe is beginning to smell like an outhouse because it's such a nuthouse.

Sorry, but the people with the attitude of “nothing will ever change, so why bother?” are simply sheep dressing up as wolves.

What’s the point of a ceiling when they keep raising the roof?

If you search the graph of the last 20 years, its insane, they raise the limits no matter what.

It’s like threatening to whip your kid when they won’t do their chores but each time its, I’m gonna get the belt, then you give them ice cream, then the dishes pile back up. Insanity

Update - Saturday May 27, 2023

DEBT CEILING/SPENDING DEAL REACHED

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy have reached an agreement in principle on legislation to increase the nation’s borrowing authority and avoid a default.

Negotiators are now racing to finalize the bill’s text. McCarthy said the House will vote on the legislation on Wednesday, giving the Senate time to consider it ahead of the June 5 deadline to avoid a possible default.

While many details are unknown, both sides will be able to point to some victories. But some conservatives expressed early concerns that the deal doesn’t cut future deficits enough, while Democrats have been worried about proposed changes to work requirements in programs such as food stamps.

A look at what’s in and out of the deal, based on what’s known so far:

Now we can get back to focusing on bringing past and current high-level government criminals to justice.

Thankfully, those who want to pay more taxes and fill the government coffers with cash, only have to relocate one country north to Canada.

Disgruntled Americans who aren't moochers are welcomed with open arms!

MORE evidence that Democrat leaders in Congress treat their lower-status colleagues as dumb sheep...

Former House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) has been urging his colleagues to vote “yes” despite some of their misgivings.

“Despite these setbacks, we must save the American economy from Republicans’ irresponsible and radical plans to impose a damaging default. The failure to do so would have catastrophic impacts on every American, every family, and the global economy,” Hoyer reportedly said.

“We cannot allow the American people to shoulder the dire consequences of Republicans’ inability and unwillingness to govern. That’s why I urge my colleagues to join me in supporting this compromise legislation and to bring an end to this needless economic turmoil,” he added.

Sadly, the best Democrats Leaders can do is use extremely general language and attach emotional whining to it.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) got shut down in her own Town Hall this weekend for whining so much without saying anything meaningful.

Psssst...Hey New Yorkers. Here's a tip. You can remove AOC from office in 17 months!
