Prigozhin has launched another attack on the Kremlin today accusing then of banning reporting about him on state media , reportedly his victory speech from Bakhmut wasn't shown at all , he also raises the spectre of a popular uprising again.

"What is forbidden is always sweeter. Wagner is not a piece of slippery soap which the bureaucrats have got used to shoving all over the place; Wagner is an awl, a stiletto that you cannot hide," he said.

"I am absolutely convinced they have forbidden (coverage). That high-level bureaucrats, those very towers of the Kremlin, are trying to shut the mouths of everyone so that they don't speak about Wagner will only give another shove to the people."

Such an approach, he said, would provoke a backlash from the Russian people.

"In the long term - long term is two or three months - they will receive a finger-slap from the people for trying to shut everyone's mouths and ears,"Prigozhin said.

Prigozhin has become a loose cannon who no doubt has supporters in the military and in the Kremlin , he seems to me to be branding himself as a man of the people Vs the Bunker Grandfather ... this could get interesting quickly.

The way this 3 month opperation has gone I think Putin is at greater risk now , Prigozhin is the hero of Bakhmut which has no doubt done his brand the power of good , Putin on the other hand ... not so much.

I wonder if Prigozhin's game is to retool Wagner and use it as a foundation, adding disgruntled soldiers &tc, and moving on Moscow.

I bet there's some negotiating going on between him and some generals.

I think he's forfeited any chance of a long-term future in Putin's Russia.
