I stumbled across this article a few days ago and came right on over here to see what the masses had to say about it. I sort of feel like this has already been discussed...but while searching I didn't find anything. So, if it has been discussed, and I missed it my searches, please feel free to properly mothball this post. Otherwise, I'm genuinely interested in what the larger group here thinks.

As this object passed the moon, was it in front or behind it? Will help with some reference of scale. Why do these important parts of the story keep getting lost. Maybe it was just some satellite, maybe some alien death star of doom. Looks like some things are going on at the moon. As for what exactly?

Can’t follow the link as it’s that scum tabloid. But I saw a photo earlier of this and i am sure it’s been around for a while.

But everyone knows aliens have never been to the moon, they filmed it all in a studio.

I take UFO phenomena seriously, BUT...!
1) The publication, The Sun, to wit, The U.S. Sun has low street cred. Which is precisely the job.
2) The headline is atrocious: Broad daylight does not occur behind the Moon. Lol.
3) The first sentence then reads there are two UFO's, not one, as in the headline.
4) The second sentence then nixes the sensationalism by providing a link on the word "aircrafts", then the fourth sentence as "devices".
5) My fav disclaimer: "It is unclear where the video was taken and if it may have been modified."
6) Lastly for the laughs...

Below the video, some commenters speculated about what the objects might be.
"The moon is a space station used by (extraterrestrials) to spy on earth," one TikToker postulated.
"It's obviously a cow jumping over," another said.
"Probably a Walmart bag," a third commenter said.

👽 hahaha!
Thanx for the gigglez.

Agreed ... I mainly posted because I know it's been discussed ad nauseum! But, all my searches have turned up empty. Maybe i need to include HOAX in my search...back to the search. If I do uncover any previous threads, I'll be sure to post back here.

I expect nearly everybody to be seeing 'UFO's" in the coming months. Thanks, China!

(If they've got the technology, they probably got it from one of our advanced Black Ops projects.)

I don't remember this particular case, but it has some of the most common problems in cases like this to be taken seriously:
- lack of known measurements (size and/or distance of the objects from the camera);
- the colour of the objects is very similar to the colour of the Moon, making it impossible to know if it passed in front or behind the Moon.

The most likely explanation is that those objects we closer to the Earth than to the Moon and, obviously, didn't pass behind the Moon.

If the video lasted a little longer maybe we could see the object reach a darker area of the Moon and see that it was in front.

Useless.

I might be able to shed some sort of light on this. ETA: found it! I had it saved on a computer with the full title.
Several years ago (hence don't remember or have the link unless I downloaded it), someone with a pretty good telescope posted a video of a similar craft passing between the moon and Earth. In that video the images were crystal clear so that you could see the engines igniting.

It is made up.

I remember that, and I still think it was something close to Earth and the "engines igniting" were only reflexes on the object's surface.

There's too much wishful thinking in this field, which is a shame, as it drowns the real interesting cases.
