FBI dropped 4 probes into Hillary Clinton, family’s non-profit ahead of 2016 election

The FBI had at least four open criminal investigations into Hillary and Bill Clinton that were suddenly dropped in the months before the 2016 presidential election, special counsel John Durham’s recently released report shows.

The bombshell report released by Durham — which concluded that the bureau’s probe into former President Donald Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia was “seriously flawed” — also shed light on the quashed probes.

The feds had been looking into claims that foreign countries and other individuals were trying to influence the Clintons through donations to their namesake non-profit and Hillary’s presidential campaign.

Three of the FBI’s four investigations that were launched in early 2016 were looking into allegations that the Clinton Foundation has a hub of “criminal activity.”

Those federal probes originated from field offices in Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, DC and New York — all of which opened audits into the charity as Hillary was in the midst of her presidential run.

The Little Rock and New York offices were investigating a claim that an outside commercial industry “likely engaged a federal public official in a flow of benefits scheme, namely, large monetary contributions were made to a non-profit, under both direct and indirect control of the federal public official, in exchange for favorable government action and/or influence,” according to the Durham report.

The DC investigation was based on allegations that the Clintons accepted millions in donations from foreign governments — as well as massive Russian corporations — in an attempt to influence US foreign policy dating back to Hillary’s days as Secretary of State, as outlined by political consultant Peter Schweizer in his book “Clinton Cash.”

The fourth investigation looked into allegations made by a “well-placed” source that Hillary continued accepting those illegal donations throughout her presidential campaign.

In Criminal Investigations done by the F.B.I. there seems to be Procedures that are Blatantly Open for Interpretation Besides a Knowledge of the Law . Case in Point , Comey and the Clinton Investigations ...

I would add that nobody in government AND their partners/spouse/children be allowed to also run a non-profit charity on the side or engage in stock trading.

The revolving door between government and big corporations also needs to be closed.

What needs to be done to fix government so it can once again represent the people is obvious to all but the politicians who serve themselves first and foremost.

It's a good thing President Trump picked good people who gave us a strong economy with zero inflation, because he was rotten at hiring good swamp drainers.

Democrats literally had brain freezes and stomach ulcer development when FBI Director James Comey suddenly RE-OPENED the investigation into Hillary Clinton's criminality....just 8 days before the 2016 Presidential election.

Now, is the reason NOBODY seems to care about this is it goes well beyond just the dems?

At least the current incarnation of the Democrat party - radical head cases - have now been fully and finally exposed as totally corrupt and willing to coordinate electoral cheating. IN a way it's good that debate is over. It might wake Americans up and make them more vigilant come the next election.

Crossfire Hurricane was started in secret at the end of July, 2016, but it never targeted Trump. It targeted Carter Page, Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, and Paul Manafort.

Trump himself was not the named subject of a DOJ investigation until May, 2017, under Trump's own Administration and as a result of firing FBI director James Comey, thereby raising suspicions of obstructing justice. At that point, Crossfire Hurricane was ended and all investigations of Trump and his campaign were turned over to Special Counsel Mueller. The Mueller investigation lasted a little bit less than 2 years.

The current DOJ investigations of Trump have been going on only since about February 2022, in the classified documents case, and since about July, 2022 when reports started leaking that the DC Grand Jury began calling witnesses to consider whether there was evidence that Trump interfered with the 2020 election.

The FBI on July 31, 2016, opened a counterintelligence investigation, dubbed “Crossfire Hurricane,” into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. The team was set up because of a tip from an Australian diplomat: that a Trump campaign adviser, George Papadopoulos, had disclosed in a May conversation that Russia had obtained damaging information on Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, and appeared willing to help the Trump campaign with it.

Oh, I see yea Crossfire Hurricane was just an investigation into the Trump campaign, thats completely different than investigating Trump personally. Why an investigation into the Trump campaign would have no effect on DJT at all, thanks for the clarification
