I am sorry. Have you sat in some of these sessions? They get pissed too when you point out that simply being poor is a factor in some of their racial bias things.

I just took my yearly one last month, the vidoes they use are kind of comical. This time around it was a female manager making the Asian dude on her team uncomfortable with her jokes.

I found the jokes to be funny because I am legit biased about everything and everyone.

You are not alone. This is usually the outcome of overkill.

Our entire society has become so desensitized they no longer even put anyone else's feelings on the back burner, because their own takes up so much space there is no room left on the stove.

"Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn", has become the most common unspoken response of the decade.

No one gives a damn about anyone else, then it is used it as an excuse, because no one gives a damn about them.

Yes I have. I certainly didn't feel targeted or anything. I know I have some unconscious biases.

Everyone has unconscious biases but very few put in any effort to self-analyze themselves.

As I expected, this has a lot to do with the freakin transgender agenda. They put a little bit in there about latinx (their term) immigrants and black women dying in childbirth more. That seems that someone is implying that the white caregivers are contributing to their deaths simply because they are black. *roll eyes* *shake head*

However, it seems that this is what it really is all about, considering how much is written on it for the justification. Mind you, this is only part.

JUSTIFICATION:: In recent years, the health care community has shifted its focus to further address health inequity and its impact on individuals from traditionally marginalized communities, including but not limited to people of color, women, and the LGBTQ+ Community. The COVID-19 Pandemic further illustrated these inequities...
- A study conducted by the Center for American Progress found that 15% of LGBTQ+ respondents, and 28% of transgender respondents avoided seek- ing medical care when sick or injured due to previous experiences of discrimination in a healthcare setting. Additionally, 32% of transgender participants indicated that the healthcare provider intentionally misgendered them. 38% indicated that the doctor was physically rough or abusive when treating them, 34% indicated that a doctor refused to provide healthcare related to their transition, and 49% indicated that the doctor was visibly uncomfortable while treating them.
www.nysenate.gov...

So, YES. This is another aspect of “woke-ness” taking over our institutions.

The Inuit are complaining about the same problems with health care from white people led heath services and it's true.

I don't doubt that these things occur. But now it seems that someone thought to make a law about it now that the lgbtq trans people are up in arms about it.
I'm sorry, but being upset that a doctor appeared uncomfortable while treating you is seriously not a concern. Find a new doctor. I've done it when I didn't like a doctor's bedside manner. Also, that whole 32% of transgenders were upset that a caregiver "intentionally misgendered" them is BS. If I came in a room and saw what clearly was a man dressed as a woman, I rightly would assume he was a man. Those cases might not be intentional, but the overly sensitive people might take it that way.

It's not about a doctor being uncomfortable about treating you it's about health care professionals' biased behaviour in how they treat or rather don't bother to treat you as they would other people that are the same as them. The Inuit can't find anybody new because there is nobody new. Have you tried to find a new doctor lately. It can't be done easily or in any kind of reasonable timeframe.

Maybe she was just a bitch? It happens and happens without regard to race, sex, etc.

The irony here is to the bigoted woke brain, this is incomprehensible.

It's incomprehensible because wokesters are incapable of forming value judgements about people without taking skin color, gender, orientation or some other non-character traits into account.

To them, your skin color, your gender, etc. determine your worth as a person.

And because they can only think in these terms, they think everyone else does to. It's the only way they understand things.

So that translates into if they see a white person mad at a black person, the white person must be mad about the black person's skin color. There are no other options in the narrow, closed minds of the woke.

So if you are a transwoman, then your doctor is expected to ignore your prostate and find a way to give you an annual pap or something?

Ask a transperson that question, but you won't.

When this kind of training first took shape the culture of the world was much less afflicted than it is now.

Which has nothing to do with "race/culture/gender/lifestyle" bias... it has to do with "education bias."

Most educators in fields such as these are constantly deprived of the feedback of positive outcomes. The objects in question, namely "engaging and/or challenging" behavior, are not in any sense, matters of academics. Yet that is the model used to "teach" anti-bias topics.

I fault the social engineers mostly, administrators next, and the educators themselves (in most cases) least of all.

Social engineers at the level of executive actions fail to concern themselves with the particulars of reality, they simply want to boast the anticipated outcome as successful; administrators simply want to "tick the boxes" which demonstrates their carrying out objectives as directed; educators are trying to carry out badly engineered ideological outcomes using whatever methodologies they happen to find 'workable.'

Say you are repulsed or offended by a certain kind of person. I could train you to effectively "conceal" that sentiment - or perhaps to give higher priority to creating the impression that you are NOT affected by it - or I could train you to "understand" that what is desired is to meet 'xyz' criteria to assure you do not present a liability for that prejudice/bias. Maybe I could teach you to properly identify it in others. Maybe I could teach you to identify it in your patients, and how to handle that. There are so many different options, it spins the mind.

But in the end the cheapest and most cost-effective way to "SAY" you have done what you are told to do is to engage in exposition of doctrine and demand the student be responsible for that somehow. Hence the failures that are seen (reference to different ongoing indoctrination topics in lower education) and can be expected to be seen in the future.

Sadly, the culture we have been programmed to accept allows for this to be abused. And it is. I would think that after 12+ years of medical training, and continuously throughout the practice, doctors (and almost any medical professionals) would have faced these challenges head-on and had to have overcome it already. But that's just the opinion of a 'nobody' to them.

As for the development of 'deployment' in NYS or anywhere else... this is part of the plan... look for it elsewhere... the fodder for their future assertions that "We are fighting a battle" will have proof in the records... Not that it means much of anything.

There is usefulness/interesting results to be found in Scientology's E-meter test, but it's still a technique for brainwashing. I'm imaginative and thoughtful on my own. As for bigotry, I was always color blind. I stood up for gays in a small fishing community school where it was unpopular to do so (I was the only one who did.) I never needed any sort of test to make me see the errs in discrimination. Truth is, we all basically know bullying/vilifying is wrong. It's just that most people do not have the guts to say anything when and where it is not advantageous to speak out/shame the haters.

-

Am I really explaining why brainwashing is BAD on site so full of mind-expanding information as ATS?

I am honestly unsure if I am speaking with bots, agents or real people...

George Carlin made fun of this sort of thing. The weakening of the mind through "soft language". As human beings, we all ready have empathy and thinking capacity. We do not need to be put into a room as a group and instructed on "soft language" and walking on eggshells.

Hear out Mr. Carlin. He is the most beloved comedian of all time for a reason.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply, Maxmars. It seems like the public has forgotten how to think, even on a basic common sense level. They forgot Big Pharma and government are corrupt. They forgot how all our rights and freedoms had to be fought for. They forgot actual socialism is bad. They forgot tyranny is bad. Now brainwashing? This may sound selfish or weak, but I am exhausted of trying to explain basic common sense/knowledge to so many people. Even to those who USED TO be able to think. Between Trump and Covid-19, a great many people's brains just broke. Now, we are losing everything that we spent so much time and sacrifice to build up.

I love this Jordan Peterson clip calling out the moral inaction of scholars, college faculty and administrators.

We have had this same training in the NHS in the UK. We were shown the wheel of privilege that states that if you are white, tall, christian, straight etc then you are a privilege person.

Yes. Predictable, isn't it? I feel that the transgender push relates to transhumanism in some way. I suspect the criminal elite hates humankind. They are so far removed from normal society, so surrounded by bootlickers and yes men, and have gotten away with so much gross criminality, that such people feel above and beyond the public. I believe they carry actual malice for humanity and I suspect that is a driving factor behind their plans to depopulate the world. They want us masked, silenced/walking on eggshells, mindless and obedient, dead or dying. Here in Canada, the Government will literally assist you with suicide. The psychotic evil of the criminal is unmistakable.

Isn't that so ridiculous? I would have spoken up and been a problem for them, maybe asked to leave the room lol I'm currently working for immigrants and have frequently cleaned officers for min wage for high wage people of minority. I'm pretty color blind but when I hear about "white privliege" I take a look around and realize I have plenty of evidence to counter their argument with. There is only one meaningful form of privlidge: wealth, pure and simple. This "White privilege" nonsense is just the elites working divide and conquer, as usual.

This training was being given in response to staff saying they have been discriminated against, NHS will ignore any complaints from white staff, I had an issues previously with this type of thing, I complained to HR, NHS England and everyone in-between, no one would respond, they just suggest someone else to forward that too until eventually it went full circle. If you are a white staff member in the NHS no one is going to care what happens to you. Even both of the big Unions for public sector workers UNITE and UNISON would not even reply to my emails despite be paying to be a member of their unions - I did get my money back.

I did make a written complaint about this anomalously so I won't get any feel back on that, it will be ignored anyway but just thought it would make me feel better.

This is the speaker who was paid thousands of pounds by E & N Herts NHS Trust to tell us about the wheel of privilege - she was absolutely terrible www.youtube.com...

And this is the video we were shown by University College London Hospital where we were told only the White man was at fault here and if he behaved like the lady does to someone of a different ethnicity he would also be in the wrong www.youtube.com...
